All SeaDream I Crew and Guests Test Negative for COVID-19

All Crew Members and Guests Are Marked Safe Thanks to SeaDream’s COVID-19 Procedures

All guests and crew members onboard SeaDream I have tested negative for COVID-19. SeaDream attributes the good news to the professionalism of the crew and the comprehensive infection control measures that the company has taken since early March. SeaDream has gone above and beyond government guidelines to protect the safety of the crew, guests, and communities visited by the yachts.

Crew members were the first to get tested and all results came back negative. None of the guests onboard had exhibited any symptoms of COVID-19. However, in an abundance of caution, local health authorities also tested all guests onboard. Testing for guests started at 4 pm today local time. The results were made available late evening, Oslo time. All guests have tested negative for COVID-19.

“We would like to thank the National Institute of Public Health and the Norwegian Directorate of Health as well as Bodø Municipality, led by Mayor Ida Maria Pinnerød, for their professionalism in this matter. Nordland Hospital has done a fantastic job of testing 86 crew members today and delivering all results already early this afternoon,” said SeaDream’s Andreas Brynestad. “They have all shown how Norway can respond so quickly and effectively in situations like this.

SeaDream’s focus has been to take every measure to ensure guests have the best experience possible. SeaDream is proud to have a crew that always goes the extra mile, especially in situations such as this one.
