SeaDream II Arrives in Miami for her Debut

SEADREAM YACHT CLUBS SEADREAM II
TO CALL ON MIAMI FOR HER DEBUT

MIAMI, February 2002----In a scant five months after Atle Brynestad and Larry Pimentel dreamed about a new and unique company, offering an ultra luxury, yacht holiday experience, that dream has turned to reality. The company, SeaDream Yacht Club, is off and running and the first of its two mega yachts, SeaDream II, is sailing into Miami, January 31 to be shown off to the travel industry and the public by special invitation only, February 1-8.

Brynestad, owner of SeaDream Yacht Club, is the Norwegian entrepreneur who founded Seabourn Cruise Line. His colleague and co-owner Pimentel, was President of Cunard Line and Seabourn Cruise Line.

SeaDream II will arrive at the Port of Miami fresh from a complete redesign in a European shipyard. Her twin, SeaDream I, currently calling on small yachting ports in the Caribbean, will undergo the same reincarnation in April this year. SeaDream II will sail to the Caribbean after her Miami debut where both SeaDream I and II will offer seven-day sailings out of St., Thomas. In December this year they will utilize Miami as home port for ten weeks sailing a yacht-friendly itinerary that includes Nassau, San Salvador, Rose Island and Key West. In May they will operate seven day Mediterranean sailings using Nice as their hub and calling on ports popular with mega yacht owners in the French and Italian Riviera regions. Annual itineraries call for the pair to sail in the Mediterranean in the summer and the Caribbean in the winter.

Both Brynestad and Pimentel will be on hand In Miami to welcome their yacht. Pimentel, now Chairman and CEO of SeaDream Yacht Club, expressed the feelings of Brynestad and his small group of SeaDream colleagues:

At a time when passenger shipping lines are becoming ever more gigantic and smaller lines are being snapped up by the big boys, this is a demonstration of what a small entrepreneurial company can accomplish when it puts its creativity and energy to the task. Quite simply, SeaDream Yacht Club is a new kind of company and SeaDream I and II will offer a new and exciting type of seagoing holiday.

The key words in this concept are free-form and unstructured. That is, SeaDream I and II will offer discerning vacationers with the downtime they obviously crave---an unstructured, free-form yachting holiday at sea with plenty of room for personal choice--- no clocks, no crowds, no lines and no stress.

SeaDream Yacht Club represents the relentless pursuit of casual perfection, Pimentel stated.
