SEADREAM YACHT CLUB ACHIEVES AMAZING RATINGS BY AUTHORITAVE PUBLICATION

SeaDream Yacht Clubs twin, ultra-luxury, mega yacht cruisers, SeaDream I and II, have been rated the number two and three finest passenger vessels in the world and have outscored all ships rated (regardless of size) in the food and service categories.
The singular honor was awarded by the authoritative Berlitz Guide to Ocean Cruising and Cruise Ships 2004. It was the second year in a row that the SeaDream twins received this Berlitz accolade; all the more unusual since SeaDream Yacht Club is a mere two years old.
SeaDreams mega yacht cruisers topped the publications Five Star-Club with only one vessel scoring marginally higher at Five Stars Plus---Europa, a German language vessel, operated largely for the German market.

A delighted Larry Pimentel, CTC, President and CEO of SeaDream Yacht Club, pointed out: The objective evaluations of the Berlitz guide are determined from criteria that includes cumulative scores for the quality of the ship, its accommodations, cuisine, service, entertainment and overall cruise experience. But for the entertainment (modest on yachts; elaborate on cruise vessels) SeaDream I and II might well have outscored all of 25 of the Five Star rated ships.

SeaDream I and II were not rated in the entertainment category since yacht class vessels do not stress elaborate entertainment but choose to emphasize a more active, free-form, seagoing holiday. In spite of the absence of a score for entertainment the SeaDream yachts achieved amazing scores, Pimentel said.

All SeaDream colleagues are to be congratulated in this outstanding achievement; especially the incredible staff aboard SeaDream I and II, Pimentel concluded.
Here is a quick summary of what the Berlitz 2004 guide had to say:
