SEADREAM YACHT CLUB Appoints AUSTRALIA-NEW ZEALAND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

SeaDream Yacht Club, operator of the twin, ultra-luxury mega yachts SeaDream I and II, has appointed Julie Denovan as Business Development Manager, Australia and New Zealand, as it moves to expand sales in the region.

Denovan, well-known 25 year veteran of the travel industry in Australasia, was previously Regional Director of Sales, Australia-New Zealand for the Hong Hong-based Peninsula Hotel Group.

The announcement of Denovans appointment was made by Larry Pimentel, CTC, President and CEO of Florida-based SeaDream Yacht Club, who said We have watching closely the growing interest in up market cruising by Australians and New Zealanders who are amongst the worlds most-traveled holiday-makers and have a great affinity with sea travel.

Currently the region accounts for slightly more than one percent global business. North America accounts for 75 percent, Europe, the Middle East and elsewhere for the balance. We are looking to increase this in Australia and New Zealand to around five percent or more with Julie Denovans appointment.

Julie is a highly energetic, professional and a fast-starter. She will be increasing an interest in SeaDream in Australia and New Zealand with the travel industry, vacationers, incentive houses, small business organizers and those whose business is to handle full ship chartering for organizations and private families, Pimentel concluded..

In her new position Denovan reports to Bob Lepisto, CTC, Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales and Marketing. She may be reached at (02) 9958 4444.
