SEADREAM YACHT CLUB NAMES CROWTHER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR, MIDWEST, USA


SeaDream Yacht Club, operator of the twin, ultra-luxury, mega yachts SeaDream I and II, has named Shannon Crowther Business Development Director, Midwest, USA.

A travel executive with 10 years experience in selling seagoing vacations, hotels, tours, and destinations, Crowther operated her own independent travel sales company prior to joining SeaDream.

Commenting on her appointment, Larry Pimentel, CTC, President and CEO of SeaDream, said �The Midwest is an ideal market for us with knowledgeable and sophisticated travelers who like the SeaDream style.

�It is also a buzzing center for the meeting and incentive houses. The SeaDream product is ideal for full ship, meetings and incentive charters. We look to Shannon to increase our reach in this vibrant area,� he said.

She will be based in Chicago and will report to Bob Lepisto, CTC, SeaDream�s Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales and Marketing. Crowther�s sales territory covers the following states: Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Indiana and North and South Dakota.

Crowther�s earlier travel industry experience includes not only operating her own representation company, Destination Consultants Inc., but earlier she was Regional Sales Director, Midwest for Cruise West and National Sales Manager for the resort representation company, The Hyland Group.

She is a graduate of the University of Kansas where she received a Bachelor�s degree in Business Communications in 1993.
