SEADREAM YACHT CLUB
TO FEATURE SEGWAYTM HUMAN TRANSPORTER

High Tech, Two-Wheel, Electric Transporter
To Add Verve and Excitement to Unique SeaDream Yachting Experience

COCONUT GROVE, FL---SeaDream Yacht Club plans to introduce the unique and hotly anticipated SegwayTM Human Transporter (HT) on sailings aboard its twin, mega yachts, SeaDream I and II.
In doing so, SeaDream will become the first ultra-luxury, seagoing yachting experience to feature the high-tech, two-wheeled, electric transporters that are not yet available to the public.

Commenting on SeaDreams introduction of the Segway HT, Larry Pimentel, CTC, SeaDreams Chairman and CEO, said It was inevitable that SeaDream and Segway get together. We both offer unique travel experiences that add verve and excitement to our lives and that take us to unique locales with ease and enjoyment.

When we founded SeaDream we realized that we were creating a niche product with a high degree of marketing differentiation. Thats why in the beginning it was our intention to offer a unique yachting experience; not a cruise experience. With that in mind we taught our guests to expect the unexpected from SeaDream. Thats why we came up with the array of water toys and other diversions we offer aboard our yachts---clearly all activities for the active and adventurous traveler seeking high style fun and excitement.

The Segway HT is a fun travel experience, one that will help SeaDream guests get more excitement out of their yachting experience, Pimentel said. The simple-to-operate Segway HT has gyroscopes and tilt sensors to monitor a users center of gravity more than 100 times a second. When a person leans forward slightly, the Segway HT moves forward; when leaning back, it moves back.

The Segway HT will be featured on SeaDream I and II by the end of November when the two yachts are respectively in Palm Beach, Florida and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Segway HT will be introduced aboard SeaDream yachts in two stages. During the first stage specially trained, onboard SeaDream personnel will teach guests basic riding skills---forward and backward motion, turning and agility.

SeaDream guests will then have the opportunity to ride the device on a shoreside training course. The experience will be available to guests at a cost of $49 per hour. Later in its 2003 season SeaDream intends to introduce the Segway HT into its SeaDream Land Adventures, its highly-acclaimed shore excursion program.
