SeaDream Yacht Club APPOINTS CRUISE-INDUSTRY VETERAN


SeaDream Yacht Club announced it has appointed cruise-industry veteran Erling Frydenberg to the position of Vice President Hotel Operations. Frydenberg will be based at the company's headquarters in Oslo and will oversee hotel, culinary, crewing and purchasing. "SeaDream will benefit from Erling"s extensive cruise-industry knowledge, expertise in hospitality management and established record of leadership," said Atle Brynestad, SeaDream's Owner and Chief Executive Officer. "In the role of Vice President Hotel Operations, he will be able to offer invaluable strategic guidance in helping us to maintain and further develop our reputation for excellence and innovation in the luxury yacht cruise segment." Erling will not only help us maintain the fine SeaDream Yacht Club reputation but will ensure that it is enhanced further in the years ahead.” An accomplished veteran of the luxury-cruise industry, Frydenberg brings over twenty-five years of niche cruise-industry experience to his new position at SeaDream Yacht Club. A native of Oslo, Norway, Erling graduated from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, and earned an MBA from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles. Frydenberg began his career with Royal Viking Line as a shipboard Hotel Manager and was later appointed Vice President of Hotel Operations. He subsequently joined Crystal Cruises and served as Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations, responsible for the research, development, and implementation of the large luxury cruise line company, before joining Disney Cruise Line as Vice President Hotel Operations where he was a member of the management team that planned and launched the line's ships. Most recently, he held the post of Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at Silversea Cruises, responsible for fleet operations worldwide, before he launched the Cruise Division for Executive Search International in February last year.
