    Description

    This land adventure is dedicated to the wine lovers. Departing from St Tropez, you will drive to reach Taradeau where Chateau St Martin is located. You will enjoy the countryside, passing by some of the most celebrated district’s vineyards: Appellation Côtes de Provence and reach your destination. The history of Chateau St Martin goes back to the Roman times. The Domain, “Cru Classé”, is 100 hectares and belongs to the same aristocratic family since 1740. You will discover beautiful sights, vineyards and have a special tasting of their wine production, accompanied by some toasts. After your visit, you will re-board your bus and on the way back to St Tropez, you will make a stop at Port Grimaud. This Mediterranean fishing village, designed by the famous architect François Spoerry, is indeed a modern complex of luxury housing with a fully equipped marina. You will have some time at your leisure, before returning to your SeaDream yacht waiting for you in St Tropez.

    Description

    Welcome to St Tropez! Join your instructor in a walk, a meandering route that truly inspires with its magnificent views. To acquaint casual walkers and serious trekkers alike with the pleasant Mediterranean climate and beautiful scenery. This is a spectacular area for fishing, as the sea offers its bounty for locals to catch and impassioned chefs to present to appreciative foodies from around the world. In addition to admiring the rugged landscape and spotting rustic, modest abodes, you will glimpse luxurious villas that serve as enviable escapes for French and international vacationers. St Tropez or St Trop, was the favored destination for stars like Brigitte Bardot and many more. During the hike, you will stop for a small snack and should you wish, a swim. If you wish, you may remain in St-Tropez after the hike for independent exploration before re-boarding your SeaDream yacht.

  • Calvi, Corsica - The Villages of Corsica 139(USD)

    Description

    This pleasant half-day Land Adventure winds through some of the island's most picturesque villages and landscapes, and, also allows for some free time to walk through one of the islands most charming villages. Don't miss this opportunity to explore the island beyond the lovely port of Calvi! Start out with a drive through the Balagne region as you travel along a scenic road that takes you through Calenzana, a village overlooking some of the most fertile land on the island. The lively village center is built around the Piazza Communa, a pleasant tree lined square dominated by the heavily Baroque Eglise St. Blaise founded in 1691. From there continue on to the Romanesque "Chapelle de Santa Restituta," an important pilgrimage site in Corsica. The road then snakes leisurely through several more villages, such as Zilia and Cassano as you enjoy lovely views along the way. Arriving in Lunghignano, you will stop for a visit of a donkey-pulled olive oil mill and enjoy a sampling of the product. Then, in Montemaggiore, admire the view from the foot of the baroque church of Saint Augustin before exploring its 17th century artistic treasures and impressive organ. Onward enjoy the views from Col de Salvi and Cateri - with its flowered balconies, where you pause for a welcome local snack for you to taste the local bread, cheese, and sausage along with a glass of wine or soft drink. Finally pass by San Antonio and the interesting church of Aregno with its multi-color walls and unique sculptures before stopping in Ile Rousse where free time is afforded for browsing. After having explored this charming village return to Calvi and SeaDream.

  • Calvi, Corsica - Calvi on Foot 79(USD)

    Description

    From the pier, follow your licensed guide to the entrance of the citadel, perched on a rocky hill overlooking the port. Walk through the drawbridge and stop to enjoy a breathtaking vista of the red rooftops and the crystal clear sea. You will continue to the Place d'Armes and then to the Cathedral St. Jean Baptiste set at the highest point of the promontory. The cathedral founded in the 13th century, was partially destroyed during the Turkish siege in 1553 and rebuilt in a form of the Greek cross. Your walk will then take you to the home of Calvi's most famous resident, Christopher Columbus who is believed to have been born in Calvi on October 12th. After viewing the exterior of this fabled building, pass the 13th century Caserne Sampiero, formerly the Governor's palace which now serves the military. Make your way to the Oratoire St. Antoine where you can admire Italian frescoes, stroll along the city's ramparts and wander through the Ville Basse. A Bustling section of the town sitting at a foot of the ramparts, The Quay Landry features a lovely marina and a cafe lined promenade.

  • Porto Ercole - La Parrina: A Farm-House Experience 279(USD)

    Description

    Just 30 minutes drive from Porto Ercole is the authentic farm house: “La Tenuta Parrina ”. Since 1830 this estate has been recognized as one of the oldest historic farms in the low hills of the Tuscan “Maremma” region. Set within a spectacular landscape of olive trees, vineyards and fields of golden grain; the estate encompasses approximately 495 acres, with 140 devoted to vineyards, 99 to fruit production, 49 to the horticultural, 54 to the olive trees, and the remaining acres between arable land and growing nurseries. On this excursion you will depart the yacht for La Parrina and be able to walk through the long avenue lined by Eucalyptus trees of the estate. Within the heart of the property is a small square protected by majestic trees and surrounded by the buildings that now house the Agriturismo” rooms (farm-house), the restaurant, the offices and the tiny nineteenth-century church. Also within the estate are thirteen Tuscan farmhouses, the modern winery, the dairy, the company shop and the wildlife reserve. The plant nursery on the property cultivates flowers, bushes, citrus trees, plants for dry gardens, plants for shade, morning glories, roses, oleanders and decorative trees.   • Bonifacio, Corsica - Lavezzi Island by Boat 139(USD)

    Description

    Board the local boat for an unforgettable trip along the extraordinary coastline of Bonifacio. Discover the dramatic sight of the citadel and the upper town; you will get the best perspective of its buildings overhanging the magnificent chalky cliffs which look like they are about to topple into the sea. Onboard the motor boat you will navigate out through the narrow harbor entrance called the Goulet, passed the deep rocky inlets with their clear aquamarine waters and the magical Grotte du Sdragonatu which is entered through a narrow and low passage. The cave with its gloriously colored seabed is a single huge chamber with a hole in the roof shaped like a map of Corsica Further along; reach the Lavezzi Island from which the whole archipelago gets its name and which is formed by a group of small barren uninhabited granite islands located 10km southeast of Bonifacio. One hour will be allocated to enjoy its beautiful shell sandy beaches and azure colored sea and to linger on this island which is classified as a nature reserve since 1982. The island is home to several rare species of wild flowers such as yellow-horned poppy and white sea daffodil. On the way back pass close to the Cavallo Island, pass the Pointe de Sperone and come back through the calanque and the cliffs before reaching the attractive and lively marina in Bonifacio.

    Please note that the entrance into the Sdragonatu Cave is subject to good weather conditions with calm sea. Guests should be advised that there are no hotels, cafes or facilities, nor shade on the Lavezzi Island, so it is essential to travel prepared with a hat, sun tan lotion and water.
