The cave visit involves approximately 1.5 miles (2.5 km) of walking and around 500 steps, making this a strenuous experience suitable only for guests comfortable with sustained physical activity. The route includes uphill sections, uneven ground, and occasionally slippery surfaces, and it is not wheelchair accessible. Sturdy walking shoes with good grip are essential, and layered clothing is recommended, as the caves remain cool and humid throughout the year. Guests sensitive to damp environments should take note. The drive between Piran and the Škocjan Caves is approximately 45 minutes each way. A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity.
