Meet the Crew: Q&A with Oneil

SeaDream - Oneil

As part of our dedication to the perfect yachting journey, we would like to introduce you to the people who make us #1 for our award-winning service on the seas. This week we are pleased to introduce you to Oneil, one of our stellar servers on board SeaDream II. Oneil joined SeaDream in 2015 and has been with us ever since. He has sailed with us through every destination in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Norway, and looks forward to many more years to come. We are proud to call Oneil a valued member of the SeaDream family.

Q: Where is your favorite place to travel in the Caribbean—and why?

A: Without a doubt, St. Barths. For those who haven’t been before, it’s a beautiful island with a charming atmosphere and marquee yachting harbor, with some of the most beautiful, secret beaches in the Caribbean.

Q: Where is your favorite place to travel in the Mediterranean—and why?

A: I would have to say the Italian Riviera and Southern Italy. It is very scenic and there are many historical places to visit. As an Italian-speaking person, anywhere in Italy makes me feel right at home.

Q: What does “It’s Yachting, Not Cruising®” mean to you?

A: The individualized service that we give each and every guest, which makes the crew feel like we are not just another “numbered” crew member like on the big cruise lines. The friendly and happy work environment on board always keeps me smiling to happy to provide the best service on the seas.

Q: What is it that you love most about SeaDream?

A: The great care and special attention I receive from my fellow crew members and management is one of the things that I love most about SeaDream. Because of the unity and family-like atmosphere at SeaDream, I feel like I am never away from home.
