Lošinj sometimes called Mali Losinj is a Croatian island in the northern Adriatic Sea. At one time with 11 shipyards, it housed the largest and most developed merchant marine fleet in the Adriatic. Today it is much quieter with visitors enjoying the small town and the beaches together with the 9000 inhabitants.
