A Message For The Adventuresome - Extended Voyages

What would you like to get away from for awhile---traffic jams, in-laws, hay fever, nightly news, cell phones, email, the kids? All of the above? But were not talking here about getting away for just a day or two or even a week.

Were talking about two, three, four, five or six weeks of ---lolling about, reading a good book, napping in the shade, dining out every day, having a massage and immersing yourself in unique and exciting cultures up close and personal. That should set you straight. Heres how to do it and maybe its for you.

Pat Bender, behavior analyst whose subject will be behavioral styles and values and how they affect individuals and corporations.

SeaDream does not regularly offer a lecture program on the yacht-like sailings aboard the twin vessels SeaDream I and II. Its guests have ample opportunity to entertain themselves with a companys noted water sports program, unique shore excursions at ports of call and other activities designed for well-traveled, active guests. It is offering its transatlantic travelers this series of compelling speakers as a diversion from those lazy days at sea---SeaDream calls them Spa Days---that attract adventurous travelers. SeaDream operates its own Asian Spas. Each SeaDream mega-yacht has eight trained Thai therapists.

SeaDream Yacht Club is the yachting venture by Norwegian entrepreneur Atle Brynestad who founded Seabourn Cruise Line, and Larry Pimentel who was president of Seabourn under Brynestad and later president and CEO of the merged Cunard and Seabourn. Pimentel is President and CEO of the Coconut Grove, Florida-headquartered SeaDream Yacht Club and a co-owner. Brynestad is Chairman. The company operates SeaDream I and SeaDream II, twin, ultra luxury, mega yachts that operate on mostly seven-to ten-day sailings in the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, Dalmatian Coast, the Black Sea and South America. The yachts are not only ideal for discerning travelers seeking an unstructured and casual holiday experience but also for small meetings and incentive groups or individual private family gatherings. They are available for full charter. SeaDream I and II shared the top Five-Star Club award in the Berlitz Ocean Cruising and Cruise Ships. For this guidebook author Douglas Ward created a special category Utterly Exclusive for only three vessels he said to be above luxury. Of the three, two were SeaDream I and II.
