  • Barcelona
    Barcelona

Overlooking the Mediterranean city, Barcelona is a destination that welcomes exploration. Vibrant and metropolitan, this UNESCO-Awarded city is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe. It is especially notable for its Art Nouveau architecture and the work of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, which can be seen throughout the city. His best-known work is the immense, unfinished church of the Sagrada Familia, which has been under construction since 1882 and is still financed by private donations. Completion is planned for 2026. SeaDream overnights in this bustling Mediterranean city and typically docks downtown at the World Trade Center, just steps away from the iconic tree-lined pedestrian La Rambla boulevard

  • Palamos
    Palamos

Palamos is one of the best‐preserved fishing villages in all of the Mediterranean. Nestled in the coastal region of Catalonia, known as Costa Brava, Palamos is famous for its locally caught prawns, served up in abundance at local cafés. The town offers scenic hiking paths, beautiful fine-sand beaches, and an historic Old Town, just a short walk from the city center. Take in Catalan culture and Costa Brava’s maritime heritage as you explore its many monuments and museums, including the Castell de Sant Esteve, a ruined castle perched high on a cliff, and the town’s Dali House Museum and Fishing Museum.

  • Collioure
    Collioure

Collioure is one of the most picturesque coastal resorts on the Mediterranean coast of southwest France. With the backdrop of the Pyrenees mountains tumbling into the sea, discover its Old Harbor, impressive castle, narrow cobblestone streets, bijou boutiques, a special art trail, and secluded beachess. Collioure was first settled by the Phoenicians and Greeks as a trading port and over time has been occupied by Romans, Arabs, Spaniards, and the French. The Knights Templars built Collioure’s Chateau-Royal in the twelfth century, later used as a residence for the kings of Mallorca. Collioure has long been considered the birthplace of Fauvism, an expressionistic style of painting created by Henry Matisse and André Derain in 1905. Collioure is known for its salted anchovies, which are exported throughout France.

  • Cassis
    Cassis

Cassis is a small port situated east of Marseille in the administrative department of the Bouches-du-Rhone in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur region in southern France. It is a very popular tourist destination and is famous for its steep cliffs (falaises) and the sheltered limestone inlets called calanques. The wines of Cassis are white and rose, and not to be confused with creme de cassis, a specialty of Burgundy which takes its name from blackcurrants (cassis), not the village here. SeaDream anchors in the bay and offer a land adventure to the impressive Aix en Provence. Other options are taking a local boat to the calanques, hiking along the coast, visiting some of the local vineyards, water sports, mountain biking or simply relaxing in a Balinese bed on the yacht.

SeaDream anchors just off the break wall and tenders directly to the pier downtown.

  • Nice
    Nice

  • Palamos - The Emporada Wine Route

    Description

An extraordinary wine experience awaits you at Empordà on the Costa Brava. The Empordà Wine Route immerses you in the deep-rooted traditions of the area, dating as far back as the Roman times. Discover the secrets of red, white and rosé Empordà wines when visiting two famous cellars of this region.

The Eccociwine Cellar, within the Gavarres Nature Reserve, was built hidden underground and next to an ancestral farmhouse which names the property and the best wine, Ca l’Elsa. The medieval village of Sant Marti Vell reflects a bygone era and their cellar is the only one in the region of Girona that has recovered the vineyard cultivation that was considered thoroughly lost in history. The vines grow surrounded by pine, cork oaks and holm oak woods in a privileged natural environment. The young cellar was built approximately 10 years ago, however the processes at the vineyard reflect local ancestral traditions within a traditional and environmentally respectful lifestyle. A tasting is enjoyed of their fine wines before departing to the second cellar called Mas Molla Cellar.

The natural balance of the fields is basic for a good grape to bring out the best quality in the wine. This is the secret of the farmers wine at Mas Molla Cellar. The land at each vineyard marks the personality their wines; according to the altitude of the vines, the proportion of pebbles and clay, the slope and insolation. Summer weather creates a special vintage based on the temperature day / night, the north wind, the rainfall, etc. The Mas Molla Cellar winery has maintained a traditional system of making wine, based on sulfur (18th century) and old wooden boots (16th century). See how they let nature do the fermentation process making the wine of each vintage and each barrel unrepeatable and enjoy a tasting after the tour.
