Canyoning in the Guadeloupe Forest
Canyoning in the Guadeloupe Forest
In a few short decades, Canyoning has gradually transformed itself from a one-off summer thrill to an adventure sport across the world. The tropical forests in Guadeloupe provide an excellent venue where the sport of Canyoning can be experienced. Under the canopy of trees, wild rivers have carved out canyons, ravines and beautiful waterfalls worth discovering. Canyoning is one of the world’s fastest growing adventure sports. The activity is performed in canyons using a variety of methods combining hiking, climbing, rappelling (abseiling), jumping and swimming. At an elevation of 1,739 feet; Saint-Claude is the highest city in the Lesser Antilles and provides one of the best locations for Canyoning in the Caribbean!
A short hike takes you to the starting point; which is a place of exceptional beauty originating from a still-active volcano. Discover one of the most beautiful tropical forests in the Caribbean on this Canyoning Yachting Land Adventure. Descend down the riverbed, rappelling to find the 50 feet tall waterfall waiting for you!
