Identified as one of the most flower-filled villages in France, Bormes les Mimosas is also one of the most picturesque hilltop villages in France with scenic views facing the sea. Travel from the harbor to discover the perched village of Bormes les Mimosas and enjoy an excellent Domaine wine tasting of the Var region.

This medieval village on a mountain slope, has an amphitheater-shape that is spread out on tiers over a stunning landscape overlooking the Mediterranean. Enjoy a guided walking tour discovering the streets and alleyways of a typical Provençal village. The signs “Parcours Fleuri” near the church lead to a flower-lined walk around the castle, which has been partially restored to provide a dwelling. Take in the abounding scents of mimosa, oleander, chamomile and eucalyptus in the air. Beyond the castle, the terrace provides a fine view over Bormes, the roadstead, Cap Bénat, and the islands of Port Cros and Le Levant. Inspired by the light and exceptional beauty of the area, numerous artists are established in the old village – including painters, potters and sculptors.

After some free time to explore Bormes on your own, you will reboard the coach for a short drive to Domaine de l’Anglade in Lavandou. This winery offers an outstanding variety of typical Provencal wines. Your guide will take you on a guided walk between the vineyards before you discover the excellent wines of the Var area. This “Domaine” has been awarded the Gold Medal 2013 for its rosé wine. You will taste 6 wines (white, rosé and red) with some toasts with local olive tapenade and goat cheese. After a splendid wine tasting accompanied by the snacks, you travel back to the pier and your waiting yacht.
