Visit an idyllic vineyard near Faaborg and discover the art of winemaking on the island of Funen.
Embark your motorcoach and join your local guide on an idyllic drive through the beautiful landscape of Funen to Kimesbjergaard. Upon your arrival at the vineyard you will meet the owners, Kirsten and Leif. Kirsten and Leif are the 4th generation who lives at the family farm. They started producing wine in 2008 as a hobby project, but it quickly developed to be more than a hobby project and in 2015 they expanded their winery. The wines are a mix of up to eleven different types of grapes and some grapes are graft types meaning different types of grapes have been mixed and formed into new types of grapes. The owners will show you their production facilities and take you for a walk through their fields. And off course a visit to this hidden gem is not complete without a tasting of some of their delicious wines.
After your visit at the vineyard, sit back and relax your ride back to your SeaDream yacht.
