Yachting Land Adventures – Spotlight on Water Activities

Grade Anse d’Arlet, Martinique, F.W.I

YLA Recommendation: Martinique Sea, Sights & Swimming

This little bay is located on the southwest corner of the island does not see large cruise vessels, only yachters, fishermen and occasionally SeaDream! Most travelers flock here for fishing charters, scuba diving or simply to relax. Guests will enjoy watersports and our Yachting Land Adventures shoreside.

For the Martinique Sea, Sights & Swimming adventure, hop aboard a speedboat excursion for a discovery of the creatures and treasures of Fort De France Bay, which is designated by UNESCO as one the most beautiful bays of the world. Iles des Saintes, Guadeloupe, F.W.I

YLA Recommendation: Les Saintes Archipelago Cruise & Snorkel

The SeaDream anchorage off the island of Terre-de-Haut (part of the Iles des Saintes group of Islands) is one of the most picturesque in the entire West Indies. We highly recommend a stroll along with the picturesque streets and colorfully painted houses, soaking in the relaxed blend of the island's French, Mediterranean & Caribbean atmosphere. During your visit to the island, we will open up the SeaDream marina for swimming and water sports activities or you can join the Les Saintes Archipelago Cruise & Snorkel for an unforgettable experience.

Enjoy scenic cruising along the way spotting beautiful bays and inlets, sheltered coves and colorful seaside villages. A stop will be made for snorkeling near Pain de Sucre. Jump into the warm crystal-clear waters from the boat to spot colorful tropical fish and marine life. After snorkeling, relax on the boat with a refreshing drink on the short cruise back to the pier and your yacht.

 St. George’s, Grenada

YLA Recommendation: Adventure River Tubing

This stop happens to be the capital of Grenada and offers guests energetic activities such as hiking and tubing. This destination is becoming more popular due to the moderate tropical climate that ensures the success of spice production. Nutmegs are the most plentiful crop, followed by an array of such spices as cocoa, mace, cloves, vanilla, cinnamon, and ginger. SeaDream guests can also enjoy playing from the water sports marina as we are scheduled to anchor in this port of call.

Head to the Balthazar River during the Adventure River Tubing YLA. Fed from sources located deep in the island's interior, this river is nestled between exotic tropical rainforest, flora, and fauna. Our river tubing guests will experience the thrill of a lifetime. Wet, wild, and wonderful from the get-go, your guides will accompany you on the journey, gently spinning and swirling in the currents of the river, as you take in the exotic scenery of tropical vegetation and wildlife, at the same time. Together with your fellow SeaDream guests, you will have a thrilling ride down the river, stopping only in the pools along the way to catch your breath. Then finally at the last pool, an opportunity for a swim before you enjoy a much-deserved rum punch or glass of local fruit juice before returning to your SeaDream Yacht.
