Discover the Caroni Nature Sanctuary by kayak with a naturalist guide who will point out the amazing variety of birds and wildlife; hopefully spotting the stunning Scarlet Ibis if you are lucky! Explore this wonder of Trinidad that is visited by many wildlife experts and visitors from around the world.

After a brief 30-minute drive you will arrive at the Caroni Nature Sanctuary, which includes a wetland of 40 over square miles. Board your kayak and enjoy this fascinating experience with your professional Naturalist Guide. Slowly paddle along the peaceful waterways and lagoons admiring the beautiful landscape. Keep a watchful eye for the astounding birds and perhaps the Scarlet Ibis; Your kayak guide will explain how the mangroves grow and point out other marine life, such as the four-eyed fish, that lives in this area of Trinidad. The almost surrealistic beauty of this famous nature resort will amaze you. This tour is a must for guests with an interest in conservation and the protection of the environment and loves nature.

After the kayaking adventure, you will return to the Main Visitor Reception Area and be treated to a refreshing Rum Punch, water or other beverage of your liking before heading back to the Yacht.

Notes: Please bring sun protection and wear comfortable clothing. Spotting of wildlife can not be guaranteed. A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity. All adventures in the SeaDream Yachting Land Adventures program are subject to change.
