Spend the Holidays Yachting in the Caribbean

While one might not organically equate secluded beaches and sunny skies with the holiday season, anchoring your yacht off exotic Caribbean isles can be unapologetically holiday. Curious about what is so special about spending the holidays yachting the Caribbean with SeaDream? We’d never thought you’d ask.

Let's Go Yachting

You Don’t Have to Skip the Holiday Dinner, But You Will Skip the Cooking and Clean Up

SeaDream BBQ

When it comes to holiday celebrations, likely the special dinner that brings friends and loved ones together is what comes to mind. Three-course meals overlooking the sheltered bays and colorful yachting harbors of the British Virgin Islands and French West Indies is more exclusive than cooking at home, with traditional gourmet dishes served either with all the trimmings or infused with Caribbean flavors. On all our Caribbean itineraries, our signature Champagne & Caviar Splash® is served in the surf, followed by an elegant beach barbeque.

SeaDream Al Fresco Dining

Dining aboard our luxurious yachts is wherever and with whomever you choose. Selections are hand-crafted for every taste, from plant- based meals to perfectly aged steaks and everything in between. All cuisine is prepared à la minute and served al fresco or in the elegant Dining Salon, with international menus that incorporate local flavors of the region with the freshest, high-quality ingredients and wine lists inspired by your destination. In true yachting style, our dining spaces can accommodate all 112 guests dining together either indoors or al fresco.

Embrace Local Celebrations & Festivities

Christmas Tree on the Beach

Whether you dock at St. Barths for New Year’s or spend Christmas in the Virgin Gorda, you’ll gain a new perspective on celebrating on island time. More than just exploring new destinations, you’ll get a chance to see the islands all dressed up for the holidays, listen to festive music around town, and appreciate the decorations in the windows of local homes.

From Christmas markets to communal Christmas trees on the beach, each island has its own way of expressing its holiday cultures, and it turns out to be a wonderful part of the SeaDream experience in the Caribbean at this time of year. Celebrate with your loved ones at a local restaurant or stroll the joyous streets of your favorite island.
