As we navigate these unique times during the pandemic, we continue to work diligently with medical experts and local authorities to establish procedures that will provide the best possible solutions for guest safety as we sail.

We encourage you to check with your local government resources, airlines, and destination countries for the most current requirements for travel and entry.

Policy Update Log
We will provide a log of these changes below as we revise our policies to conform with updated guidance from government entities and health experts.
April 25, 2022 – REMOVED: Removed the protocols for the Caribbean from our region information section as we have concluded our season.
March 28, 2022 – MODIFIED: Further modified the page to make our policies easier to understand.
February 24, 2022 – MODIFIED: Modified the requirement for COVID testing and updated it to a recommendation. MODIFIED: Simplified language about pre-travel requirements, sanitation, crew training, and dining to make our policies easier to understand. MODIFIED: To match local regulations and revised medical guidance, we have changed our policy on the use of masks on board. UPDATED: Oslo Office phone number.
February 22, 2022 – REMOVED: Removed the protocols for Barbados as we have concluded our voyages to this region for the year. REMOVED: Removed Guided Tour (Bubble Tour) section as we have concluded voyages to regions that required this type of tour.
February 14, 2022 – ADDED: Added the phrase, “As countries ease their various requirements and protocols, SeaDream intends to follow suit.” ADDED: Added the phrase, “We are being informed that many countries prefer and/or require a digital vaccine card. As it may make your travel process smoother, we suggest you consider obtaining one should it be available to you.” REMOVED: Removed the protocols for Bahamas as we have concluded our voyages to this region for the year.
January 12, 2022 – ADDED: Added the phrase “if required by local authorities” to the mid-voyage testing protocol.
January 5, 2022 – REPLACED: The Bahamas government has granted SeaDream an exception to the Travel Health Visa requirement.
January 4, 2022 – ADDED: Added new guidance as follows: Effective January 7, 2022, all SeaDream guests will be required to provide a negative Rapid COVID-19 PCR result from a test taken within 1 day of embarkation OR a negative RT-PCR COVID-19 result from a test taken within 3 days of embarkation.
January 4, 2022 – DELETED: Following CDC guidelines, SeaDream Yacht Club strongly recommends that all guests receive an RT-PCR or antigen test 1-3 days prior to and 3-5 days after their trip. (This is now a requirement of most ports.)
December 27, 2021 – MODIFIED: Changed the testing requirement protocols for the Bahamas to reflect their most recent requirements. Changed from 5 days prior to arrival to 3 days.
December 22, 2021 – ADDED: Added additional information regarding the Bahamas and their requirements for travel. ADDED: Added the following to the “Before Your Voyage” section: SeaDream advises that all eligible guests receive their booster shot at least two weeks prior to traveling.
December 15, 2021 – EXTENDED: The SeaDream with Confidence program extended to include sailings before June 30, 2022 (previously April 30, 2022).
December 14, 2021 – ADDED: Added the following to the “Before Your Voyage” section: Following CDC guidelines, SeaDream Yacht Club strongly recommends that all guests receive an RT-PCR or antigen test 1-3 days prior to and 3-5 days after their trip.

December 6, 2021 – REMOVED: We removed the phrase “Please note that SeaDream is not an accredited lab.” While we are not an accredited lab, our medical advisors have indicated that the tests provided meet the requirements outlined by the relevant national authorities.
December 3, 2021 – ADDED: We now offer antigen tests in addition to PCR tests for disembarking guests needing this for re-entry to their home country.
November 19, 2021 – ADDED: Specific information for additional embarkation/disembarkation ports in the Caribbean—United States, Saint Lucia, and the Dominican Republic.
November 18, 2021 – ADDED: Specific information for our primary embarkation/disembarkation ports in the Caribbean—U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Martin (Marigot), and Puerto Rico
November 18, 2021 – REMOVED: Removed the protocols for Italy and Greece as we have concluded our Mediterranean season.
November 5, 2021 – REMOVED: “The buffets will be open, with crew members serving all guests.” We provide guests with gloves to wear so that they may serve themselves at the buffet.
November 4, 2021 – UPDATED: Added specific requirements for the Caribbean region, including which countries currently require a “bubble tour” format and the policies for visiting Barbados.
October 15, 2021 – UPDATED: To conform with local regulations, we lowered the age of vaccination requirement from 18 and older to 12 and older for guests traveling to the Caribbean.
October 15, 2021 – REMOVED: Removed the protocols for Norway as we have concluded all voyages in that region.
August 18, 2021 – EXTENDED: The SeaDream with Confidence program is extended to include voyages sailing before April 30, 2022 (previously, December 15, 2021). The program applies to all sailings booked before October 31, 2021.
August 4, 2021 – ADDED: Information about the potential for “bubble” tours in Italy. The Italian Health Ministry has not provided additional guidance on their expired protocols. There is a chance that we will have to abide by their “bubble” tour protocols unless we are granted an exception or new protocols are issued.
July 26, 2021 – REPLACED: The sentence “All SeaDream officers and crew will be fully vaccinated by the time we resume operations” was changed to “All SeaDream officers and crew are fully vaccinated” since we are now operating both vessels.
June 22, 2021 – ADDED: Protocols for upcoming voyages to Norway.
June 18, 2021 – REMOVED: Prior to embarkation, you will need to provide proof of a negative RT-PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.
