A scenic one-hour drive west from Palamos brings you to the beautiful town of Girona, known as the Immortal City. Girona is rich in historic treasures and is one of the most interesting monumental cities in Spain.

First, you'll stop at the El Call area, one of the best-preserved the Jewish Quarters in Europe, continuously inhabited for almost seven centuries. At the very heart of the Jewish Quarter are the Arab Baths with their beautiful arches. In spite of the name, the construction of the baths is western Romanesque style. Visit the Bonastruch Ca Porta Museum on the site of the old synagogue, as well as the medieval walls of the city and the remains of the Gironella Tower, destroyed by Napoleon during his retreat in 1814. You can't miss viewing the outside of the great Catalonian Romanesque Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants. An extraordinary wine experience awaits you at Empordà on the Costa Brava. The Empordà Wine Route immerses you in the deep-rooted traditions of the area, dating as far back as the Roman times. Discover the secrets of red, white and rosé Empordà wines when visiting two famous cellars of this region.

The Eccociwine Cellar, within the Gavarres Nature Reserve, was built hidden underground and next to an ancestral farmhouse which names the property and the best wine, Ca l’Elsa. The medieval village of Sant Marti Vell reflects a bygone era and their cellar is the only one in the region of Girona that has recovered the vineyard cultivation that was considered thoroughly lost in history. The vines grow surrounded by pine, cork oaks and holm oak woods in a privileged natural environment. The young cellar was built approximately 10 years ago, however the processes at the vineyard reflect local ancestral traditions within a traditional and environmentally respectful lifestyle. A tasting is enjoyed of their fine wines before departing to the second cellar called Mas Molla Cellar.

The natural balance of the fields is basic for a good grape to bring out the best quality in the wine. This is the secret of the farmers wine at Mas Molla Cellar. The land at each vineyard marks the personality their wines; according to the altitude of the vines, the proportion of pebbles and clay, the slope and insolation. Summer weather creates a special vintage based on the temperature day / night, the north wind, the rainfall, etc. The Mas Molla Cellar winery has maintained a traditional system of making wine, based on sulfur (18th century) and old wooden boots (16th century). See how they let nature do the fermentation process making the wine of each vintage and each barrel unrepeatable and enjoy a tasting after the tour.

On this Yachting Land Adventure, you can explore Bandol and enjoy a tasting of wines and local products at one of the fine Domains located in the region of the Côtes de Provence.

Bandol, a seaside resort with beautiful beaches, coves and wine estates is undoubtedly the most famous region in Provence for the Bandol Rose wines which are among the best in France. Many vineyards have the famous Mourvèdre grape which apart the uniqueness of the Bandol wine. It is one of Provence’s most internationally recognized wine regions. This area was also the first Roman settlement in France, called “Provincia Nostra”, by the Romans; and where the name Provence originates from.

Travel by coach to Bandol where you will savor the beauty and elegance of this long-time retreat for artists and writers. After visiting Bandol and some free time, the coach will take you along the area of St Cyr sur Mer, a stunning beach location surrounded by pine forests, on the way to the wine region.

Upon arrival at Domain de la Fregate, you will find yourself deep in Provence and in the heart of the Bandol wine region. Here you will learn their wine-making techniques and be invited for a visit of their famous vineyard. Since 1882, the Frégate family has grown and cultivated these vineyards with love. A tasting of the Domaine de Fregate Bandol wines will be complimented with local products, as well as an olive oil tasting at the winery. Description

Taste the nectar of the Gods on this Yachting Land Adventure to a Provence village with a local honey tasting.

Departing from Cassis, you will visit the absolutely charming Castellet, a typical Provencal hilltop village. Perched on a wooded hill above the vineyards, this remarkable stronghold, formerly owned by the Lords of Les Baux, has well-preserved ramparts, a carefully restored 12 C church, a castle dating back in part to the 11th century.

Entering by two fortified gates “Le Portail” and “ Le Portalet ”, you will start the visit walking around the narrow streets up to the Castle, now home to the town hall. See the St. Sauveur church with its proud displayed windows, before joining the “Trou de Madame ” from where you will enjoy an expansive view inland towards St Baume and Paul Ricard Circuit. Time at leisure will be given to explore the arts and craft workshops –painting, pottery, hollow-ware and lovely small stores selling soaps and fragrances. Afterwards, you will be invited for a visit to a typical “Miellerie”, a honey factory.

Honey collection is an ancient activity. Humans began hunting for honey more than 8,000 years ago. The oldest known honey remains were found in the country of Georgia. Archaeologists found honey remains on the inner surface of clay vessels unearthed in an ancient tomb and in ancient Greece. You will learn all about the honey from the past, to current production techniques and consumption. Also, enjoy a honey tasting, before driving back to Cassis and your SeaDream yacht.

Description

Indulge in a wine lover's dream tour from St Tropez, exploring renowned vineyards, visiting the historic Chateau St Martin for a wine tasting, and ending with a picturesque stop at Port Grimaud.

Departing from St Tropez, you will drive to reach Taradeau where Chateau St Martin is located. You will enjoy the countryside, passing by some of the most celebrated district’s vineyards: Appellation Côtes de Provence and reach your destination. The history of Chateau St Martin goes back to the Roman times. The Domain, “Cru Classé”, is 100 hectares and belongs to the same aristocratic family since 1740. You will discover beautiful sights, vineyards and have a special tasting of their wine production, accompanied by some toasts.

After your visit, re-board your bus and on the way back to St Tropez, you will make a stop at Port Grimaud. Travel along one of the Riviera’s most scenic coastal roads as you make your way from Monaco to the medieval village of Èze, a spectacular hilltop settlement perched 430 meters above the sea. Before beginning your exploration, pause at a charming local brasserie at the foot of the village to enjoy a refreshing drink and light salty snacks. This peaceful stop sets the tone for your visit, offering a moment to take in the dramatic landscape and prepare for the ascent into one of the region’s most enchanting historic sites.

Your guided visit begins as you pass through Èze’s 14th‑century double gateway, complete with crenellations and a sentry walk that hints at the village’s fortified past. Once inside, wander through steep, narrow lanes lined with beautifully restored stone houses, many now home to artisan workshops, boutiques, and small galleries. Overlooking the sea, the Rock of Monaco is crowned with the ramparts of the old town and has an almost theatrical feel. Discover the Rock on foot with your guide and then travel to Saint Jean Cap Ferrat to reveal the priceless treasures found at Baroness Beatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild family villa on this Yachting Land Adventure.

From the yacht, travel to Monaco’s "Rock" and the oldest district of the Principality. Proceed to the top of the Old City by escalators and elevators, from where great panoramic views over the new city and its skyscrapers can be enjoyed. Your guide will escort you through the narrow streets, past the Oceanographic Museum, to the Cathedral containing the tomb of Princess Grace & Prince Rainier III and to see the exterior of the Prince Palace. There will be free time to explore this area on your own before departing for the next destination.

Leaving the Principality of Monaco by coach; a sweeping curved road into the delightful Mediterranean coast will take you to Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, the rugged promontory boasting many palatial villas. Your stop will be to visit the museum "Ile de France"". This villa houses a priceless collection that the Baroness Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild assembled throughout her life. Inspired by the great Renaissance residences of Venice and Florence and surrounded by seven gardens of different themes, the villa contains an exceptional collection of porcelains, furniture's, carpets, tapestries, canvases displayed among what were the apartments of Madame de Ephrussi. Description

Portofino is known as the resort of the rich and famous, but there is more to see here than just people. As you come ashore today join your guide for a 10-minute walk to Castle Brown which overlooks, from above the Gulf of Tigullio, the seafaring village of Portofino, one of the most beautiful and famous places in the world.

Explore Castle Brown, with its Mediterranean garden rich of flowers, pergolas and rose gardens together with a breathtaking view over the bay. Examine the bas-reliefs and revivalist architectural features in marble and slate and majolica tiles. There is also a great triptych work of art from the Sixteenth century and carved marble figures from the thirteenth century.

After exploring the Castle, proceed to the Portofino lighthouse for an aperitif for SeaDream guests in a venue with spectacular view. Then follow your guide to the Church of St. George, where the bones of the dragon-slaying saint are buried. Visit the church, admire the view and take some pictures of the gulf before proceeding to the exclusive Piazzetta, where your guide, after a brief introduction will depart. Description

Experience the iconic centre of Florence, Renaissance capital, with this full day tour that includes the Accademia gallery reserved inside visit.

This Yachting Land Adventure is a “must do” for anyone visiting Tuscany that hasn’t had the opportunity to explore the incredible city of Florence! This UNESCO awarded city is a feast for both the senses and the intellect and few cities are imbued with such a magnificent sense of harmony, grace, dignity and serenity. When you disembark the yacht, motor coaches will be waiting to transport you through the beautiful Tuscan countryside to Florence, the nerve center of the Renaissance.

Your first visit will be to the Academy Gallery to view its collection of works by Michelangelo. Of particular interest is the monumental figure of David, a symbol of youthful force and a perfect example of the sculptor's humanism.

Proceed on to the city's cathedral, the Duomo, surmounted by Brunelleschi's gigantic dome. Construction began in 1420, and it is said that up to 10,000 Florentines could be accommodated for the sermons of Savonarola.

Following your visit to the Duomo, enjoy a light pasta and salad lunch at a typical Florentine restaurant. Your final stop will be in Holy Cross Square, where you'll receive a brief introduction to the Santa Croce Church. The splendid interior of this church is a jigsaw puzzle of marble tombs and contains chapels frescoed by Giotto, and Brunelleschi's Pazzi Chapel. The tombs of Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli and Rossini all lie within.
