Visit the Radimlja necropolis of stecaks (medieval gravestones) which ranks among the most significant monuments of the Medieval period of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Radimlja is located 3 kilometers west of the town of Stolac, at the Vidovo field site, in an unusually accessible location in the vicinity of the tiny Paprati village. There are a large number of stecaks available showing a diversity of basic forms. Many of the high quality of stecaks show artistic execution and richness in decorations. The relief depictions and inscriptions also indicate locations of famous historic persons.

The exploration of Bosnia’s medieval history continues after a short ride to the pearl of Herzegovina, the old town of Stolac. In this beautiful Mediterranean city, restored after the last war’s destruction; you will experience a combination of hiking tour and a ride to see the most important destinations. The light hike is to Vidoški Castle perched above the city, with stunning views of the town and its environment.

After a walking tour of Stolac and some free time, the adventure continues by traveling to the Zadro Winery for a tasting of Neretva valley wines along with snacks. Also enjoy a traditional Peka lunch at this delightful winery. Return to Neum after a pleasant experience discovering these stunning pearls in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
