Experience the best of Minorca on a scenic and culturally immersive tour that brings you to some of the island’s most iconic and picturesque locations. From coastal villages to panoramic viewpoints, this journey reveals the island’s unique charm. Your excursion begins with a pleasant drive along the island’s main road, which connects Mahon, the present day capital and commercial center, with Ciudadella, the former capital renowned for its elegant architecture and historic atmosphere. Along the way, you will learn about the Port of Mahon, notable for being Spain’s easternmost port, one of the largest natural harbors in the world, and the most secure natural port in the Balearic Islands.

Your first stop is Fornells, a charming fishing village set along a long, sheltered bay. Its whitewashed houses with green shutters and peaceful seaside ambiance make it one of Minorca’s most picturesque locations. Here, you will enjoy some free time to take photos and explore at your leisure. The tour continues to Monte Toro, the highest point on the island at 357 meters. From the summit, you will be treated to magnificent panoramic views and visit the small chapel dedicated to the Virgin of Monte Toro, an important site of local pilgrimage.

Next, you will travel to Sant Patrici, a delightful village known for its beautiful surroundings and its production of mahonés cheese, a strong tasting local specialty enjoyed worldwide. You will have the opportunity to sample some of these traditional products before visiting the Museum of Minorca. Housed in a 15th century Franciscan convent, the museum offers an excellent overview of the island’s rich and fascinating history. At the end of the tour, guests will make their way back to the yacht.

Notes: This tour involves walking short to medium distances at multiple stops. It is not recommended for guests with reduced mobility and is not wheelchair accessible. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
