Mystical Caves and Baby Dragons
Explore the largest underground cave system in Europe and have a delicious homemade lunch at a traditional Karst homestead on this extraordinary Yachting Land Adventure.
Travel approximately one hour by coach to the Postojna Cave system, the largest known cave system in Europe. What sets the Postojna Cave apart from others in the world is its diversity of shapes, stalactite and stalagmite formations, expansive chambers, picturesque galleries and unusual water characteristics. Baby Dragons also live in this easily accessible horizontal cave system that cannot be missed. SeaDreamers are granted a private train journey to the cave which includes a small electric train ride into the depths and a guided walking tour along well-groomed pathways. After an amazing visit, you will rejoin the coach for a drive to an authentic Karst homestead for a local luncheon experience. Here you will enjoy savory Karst delicacies with a selection of local wines from the region, before boarding the coach to return back to the Yacht.
Notes: The temperature inside Postojna Cave averages 44 degrees Fahrenheit and 90% humidity. Casual lightweight clothing, a light jacket and comfortable walking shoes are suggested. Photography can be done without a flash. The order of the sights viewed, or visited, may vary.
A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity. All adventures in the SeaDream Yachting Land Adventures program are subject to change. Final departure times will be published on-board.
