Speed Boat, Beaches & Bat Cave
Speed Boat, Beaches & Bat Cave
Hop aboard your private speed boat for a close encounter with a bat cave and exploration of the South Coast of Martinique with swimming and snorkeling opportunities.
As you depart from the pier, you will begin the cruise along the South coast of Martinique. Appreciate cruising through the Ramier Islet which rises 124 feet (38 m) above the sea. Enjoy cool refreshments and snacks along the way onboard the boat. One of the interesting stops you will make on this cruise is a stop at the Bat Cave, where a colony of bats resides. Keep a close eye out as the boat slowly enters this protected area – you may see bats swooping in and out of the crevice or just hanging upside down while sleeping. Other stops along the route are at Anse Dufour with its many colorful fishermen’s houses and boats. It’s also an ideal place to observe and swim with green sea turtles that thrive in the bay. Next, you will enjoy a stop for approximately 45 minutes at Grande Anse to see its famous beach and pier before returning to your SeaDream yacht.
Notes: Wear your swimsuit under casual clothing, sunscreen, flip flops or water shoes and bring a towel and snorkel equipment (if you plan to snorkel) from the yacht. The sighting of animals cannot be guaranteed, however they may likely to be seen on this excursion.
