Nutmeg Trails & Waterfall Tales

Nutmeg Trails & Waterfall Tales

As you journey from the capital city, enjoy a scenic drive through River Road where our national stadium can be seen. Continue along Beaulieu main road to the Beaulieu Nutmeg Museum.
Inhale the signature scent of the island and learn how the delicate spice (nicknamed Grenada Black Gold) is treated, like grading, drying and packing before it’s ready for export you will also visit the Agro Processing area to see how some of the nutmeg products like the nutmeg Hot sauce, sweet and spicy sauce and dry meat rub are processed and packaged.
From there head to Annandale Waterfall where a short walk brings you to a green paradise of rushing water and hanging ferns. At Annandale some of Grenada’s 450 species of flowering and medicinal plants can be seen. Here you will have ample opportunity to swim at the beautiful Annandale falls.
Your return route will take you up Marrast hill for a scenic drive view the inner harbour and Fort George then down Lucas Street before arriving at the port.
