Depart from the pier and journey to Locronan, a charming medieval village celebrated as one of the most picturesque villages in France. Once thriving from sailcloth manufacturing, the village still bears the marks of its golden age. Renaissance-era granite houses, an ancient well, a grand church, and a quaint chapel all echo its prosperous past.
Your guide will unfold the captivating tale of Saint Ronan. The 15th-century church is notable for its stone vaulting, with a pulpit adorned in scenes from Saint Ronan's life and 15th-century stained glass windows illustrating the Passion. Following the guided tour, you will have some free time to explore the elegant houses and artisan workshops at your own pace.
Before returning to the pier, indulge in a slice of the famed Breton pastry, Kouign Amann, accompanied by a bowl of cider in a local restaurant. Afterwards, enjoy some additional free time before making the drive back to Douarnenez and your SeaDream yacht.
