This week we are pleased to introduce you to André, our Chief Bartender on board SeaDream I. André joined SeaDream Yacht Club in 2019, bringing with him a wealth of experience in bartending. When he is not on board, André enjoys extreme sports, much to the chagrin of his new wife, Rayane, our resident Concierge. The two met on board and, taking a cue from The Love Boat, were recently married and now happily work side by side serving our guests.
Q: Where is your favorite place to travel in the Caribbean—and why?
A: I would have to say that Jost van Dyke is one of the most incredible islands in the British Virgin Islands. Not only are the beaches and crystal-clear waters incredible, the island has an exclusive, understated Caribbean atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for us to host our unforgettable Champagne & Caviar Splash™ party, definitely a highlight for both guests and crew alike.
Q: Where is your favorite place to travel in the Mediterranean—and why?
A: St. Tropez, along the French Riviera, for obvious reasons! Besides the exclusive air of this beautiful provencal village with its maze of cobblestone streets filled with boutiques and quaint cottages, St. Tropez offers up designer boutiques, upscale art galleries, and world-renowned beach clubs. Join our chef for a “Chef's Walk” through this remarkable town and enjoy specialty food items and a fine wine tasting.
Q: Where does “It’s Yachting, Not Cruising®” mean to you?
A: To me, this phrase means small, intimate, family-oriented, and personalized service.
Q: What is it that you love most about SeaDream?
A: The size of our yachts, the places we call on, and especially the crew members I work with on a daily basis. They are like family to me. I also have to say that SeaDream has given me many incredible opportunities to explore the world and grow in my position over the years.
