Visiting the World’s Least-Visited Destinations by Mega-Yacht

Want to try something different for your next vacation? CNN Travel compiled a list of the world’s least visited countries that should be on your travel list. These destinations will make you feel as if you’re on your own private getaway, away from the crowds. With abundant natural beauty and rich culture, it is no surprise to see that many of these hidden gems already grace many of SeaDream’s itineraries.

Experience the culture and witness the sights that only a select few get to experience with a SeaDream voyage. The top 20 least-visited countries include several SeaDream destinations in the West Indies. See which of our favorite spots made the cut:

Montserrat
Montserrat is a West Indies jewel filled with historical sites and a dramatic culture. Montserrat is often considered one of the “Insiders” favorite Caribbean islands. See the “active” Soufriere Hills Volcano on Montserrat from Plymouth port and learn why it’s often called the Pompeii of the Caribbean. No visitor to Montserrat should leave without having an encounter with Montserrat’s most captivating phenomena.

Anguilla
This British overseas territory is becoming more popular due to the incredible resort options as well as world recognized beaches and amazing golf. SeaDream offers an opportunity to tee off or for the energetic, bike around the island with the Captain or Club Director. Naturally, we also offer water sports while we are anchored off Sandy Ground.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines
SeaDream visits seven of the 32 islands in this chain called the Grenadines. In Mayreau, we host SeaDream’s signature Champagne & Caviar Splash®, a true celebration of the yachting lifestyle as it exemplifies “Casual Perfection.” Toast to the crew and guest alike – to the good times we have shared and to meeting aboard again soon. A gourmet barbecue served on a white sandy beach is a celebration of the yachting experience in every deliciously decadent bite. This particular island is the smallest of the inhabited Islands and has two amazing beaches. Other destinations include: Canouan Island, Carriacou, Kingstown, Bequia, Tobago Cays and Union Island.

Dominica
SeaDream visits Domica’s beautiful Roseau and Portsmouth. Roseau is Dominica's bustling and energetic capital, set on the southwest coast along the Roseau River. While strolling around local streets, expect to hear a variety of reggae music flowing from classic West Indies homes. Portsmouth is the second largest town in Dominica. SeaDream can either dock alongside the unique wooden pier or lie at anchor in Prince Rupert Bay to offer activities from the marina. A must would be to navigate Indian River with a SeaDream Yachting Land Adventure or explore Cabrits National Park.

Explore the world’s hidden treasures aboard SeaDream. SeaDream is ready to take you to the most pristine beaches, experience the most beautiful sunsets and be greeted by the warm, welcoming people of the Caribbean. When you book SeaDream for your next luxury West Indies cruise, you’ll never look at this region the same way again.
