Hakata, Japan

Fukuoka's old merchant quarter still runs on the yatai food stalls that line its rivers each evening, plastic-sheet tents serving the tonkotsu pork-bone ramen this city is credited with inventing. Canal City's shopping and entertainment complex shows the region's more modern face, while Dazaifu's shrine and gardens, a short train ride out, offer a quieter, more contemplative counterpoint. A strong onsen and wellness culture in the surrounding hills, and clean beaches along Hakata Bay, round out one of Kyushu's most food-obsessed cities.

The crew was fabulous, we were treated like kings & queens, very personal, like no other experience we've ever had. See you next year and every year thereafter. Mr & Mrs AmbroseTexas
...We had a great time-best ever, and will be coming back...Charlie and I feel like we've been yachting with our "best friends". Hard to believe we didn't know anyone on the yacht 8 days ago-now we've met new traveling friends for the years to come. Mr & Mrs HoganWashington
This was a wonderful experience thanks largely to the size of the ship and the wonderful staff – they made it memorable. Mr & Mrs BoyleSouth Africa
Cuisine always delicious & freshly prepared – amazing crew! We can't wait to come back again. Mrs Fiona L.Great Britain
This was undoubtedly the best trip my wife and I have ever had. Thank you for this amazing experience. Mr & Mrs FilhoBrazil
I hate Commercial Cruises. So I reluctantly signed up for a SeaDream, and after a week on the boat, I could not think of one thing that was not done to perfection. The food was great, the staff was spectacular, and having only 50 couples made this a private yacht cruise. I have signed up for my second cruise, and probably will only Yacht with SeaDream in my future. Pat M.Florida
