One of only twelve Japanese castles to survive in its original form still stands over this small Shikoku city, a rare and genuine link to the feudal era. Uwajima's bullfighting, bull against bull rather than matador, is a centuries-old local tradition unlike anything else in Japan, while the surrounding waters supply some of the country's finest cultured pearls and citrus. A genuinely unpretentious, traditional stop off Japan's main circuit.

I hate Commercial Cruises. So I reluctantly signed up for a SeaDream, and after a week on the boat, I could not think of one thing that was not done to perfection.
