Clarence Town, Long Island, Bahamas

Originally called “Yuma” by Arawak Indians, and later renamed “Fernandina” by Christopher Columbus, Long Island has a special presence unlike any other. The natural contours of the island give way to two different coastlines—the exotic cliffs and caves off the east coast and the pure Atlantic waves and sandy side gently sloping into the Bahamas Bank on the west coast, making it one of the most scenic in the Bahamas.
