Sailing through the Soo Locks & the Lake Superior North Shore, United States

The Soo Locks mark the gateway to the largest and coldest of the Great Lakes, and beyond them, Superior's north shore unfolds as rugged, sparsely populated cliffs and boreal forest running for hundreds of miles with barely a town in sight. Bald eagles are a common sight along this stretch, and the lake's sheer scale, deep enough and cold enough to behave like an ocean, has produced its own body of shipwreck lore. Industrial history giving way, quickly, to genuine wilderness.

Testimonials

The crew was fabulous, we were treated like kings & queens, very personal, like no other experience we've ever had. See you next year and every year thereafter. Mr & Mrs AmbroseTexas
...We had a great time-best ever, and will be coming back...Charlie and I feel like we've been yachting with our "best friends". Hard to believe we didn't know anyone on the yacht 8 days ago-now we've met new traveling friends for the years to come. Mr & Mrs HoganWashington
