A true coral cay ringed by one of the reef's largest and calmest lagoons, sheltered enough to snorkel in almost any weather. A dense pisonia forest covers the island's interior, home to one of the largest seabird rookeries on the southern Great Barrier Reef, black noddies and wedge-tailed shearwaters by the tens of thousands in season. Turtles nest on the same narrow beach through the summer months. A small, low-key cay that rewards anyone who makes the effort to reach it.
