The only place on earth where two UNESCO World Heritage sites meet, the Great Barrier Reef and the ancient Daintree Rainforest both within easy reach of the same small marina town. Four Mile Beach stretches along the front of town for exactly that, framed by rainforest-covered headlands, while Mossman Gorge's crystalline swimming holes lie a short drive inland. A cluster of genuinely excellent day spas, several championship golf courses and some of Queensland's best dining round out a town built entirely around its two great natural neighbors.
