SeaDream Yacht Club Appoints James Scott as Trade Sales Director for UK & Ireland

Miami, Florida – February 10, 2026

SeaDream Yacht Club has appointed James Scott as Trade Sales Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the region and its valued travel advisor community.

Scott brings more than a decade of experience across the cruise and luxury travel sector, with a career spanning sales leadership, business development, and trade engagement roles at leading brands including Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, Cunard, Oceania Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Holland America Line, and Seabourn.

Based in the United Kingdom, Scott will oversee all sales activity for SeaDream Yacht Club across the UK and Ireland. His focus will include strengthening existing trade partnerships, expanding distribution, and supporting advisors with strategic tools, training, and market-specific initiatives.

“James brings a deep understanding of the UK and Ireland travel trade, combined with a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to sales,” said Andreas Brynestad, of SeaDream Yacht Club. “His experience across premium and luxury cruise brands, along with his commitment to long-term partnerships, makes him a strong addition to our team as we continue to grow in this important market.”

Most recently, Scott served as Sales Manager for UK & Ireland at Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, where he was responsible for trade strategy, partner development, and revenue growth across the region. Prior to that, he held senior commercial and leadership roles at Cunard and Oceania Cruises, where he led regional sales teams, developed account strategies, and acted as a key ambassador to the travel advisor community.

“SeaDream’s approach to yachting—intimate, unhurried, and highly personal—stands apart in the market,” said Scott. “I look forward to working closely with our trade partners to introduce more guests to a yachting experience that prioritizes time, access, and genuine connection.”

Scott’s appointment follows a series of strategic sales and leadership investments by SeaDream Yacht Club as the family-owned company continues to strengthen its global sales presence.
