Description

Sign up on this intimate driving adventure traveling the southern area of Martinique offering incredible views, from a pottery village to a rum distillery and including the Anse Cafard Memorial and unmistakable Diamond Rock!

The adventure starts from Grande Anse with a drive to the Rum Distillery of Trois Rivieres where you will discover the rum of Martinique and enjoy a rum tasting with the real flavours of Martinique. Next continue driving passing the small village of Riviere Pilote on an inland road before reaching the gorgeous viewpoint of the Diamond rock and the Anse Cafard Memorial with its famous statues of convicts. Then travel to Anses D’Arlet village, by the coastal road and you will pass the small fishing village of Petite Anse to learn their local techniques of fishing. When climbing the “Bigot Hill”, you can see impressive views of the bay.

Continuing your exploration at the final stop is the Pottery Village where local pottery, arts and crafts can be seen before returning to Grande Anse and your SeaDream yacht.

Description

Board your catamaran in Mayreau and set out on a scenic 45-minute sail to the Tobago Cays Marine Park. This nationally protected area is formed by five small islands surrounded by coral reefs and is known for its beaches, clear waters, and marine life. On arrival, guests will have approximately one hour and 45 minutes for swimming and snorkeling, entering and exiting the water by the catamaran’s aft ladder. During this time, there is an opportunity to observe sea turtles and other marine life in the surrounding waters, although turtle sightings cannot be guaranteed.

After your time in the Tobago Cays, reboard the catamaran and continue sailing through the Southern Grenadines. During the return journey, enjoy views of Palm Island and Union Island as you make your way back toward Mayreau. Bottled water, fruit juice, and rum punch are served onboard, with rum punch offered after the swimming and snorkeling portion of the tour. Relax on deck and take in the island scenery before returning to Mayreau and your SeaDream yacht, bringing this three-and-a-half-hour catamaran experience to a close.

Notes

Not recommended for guests with significant mobility limitations. Guests must be able to safely board and disembark the catamaran. All guests must be able to swim and be comfortable in the water, and children must be accompanied by an adult. The minimum age is 10 years. Mobility devices cannot be stored onboard. Swimwear worn under comfortable clothing is recommended, along with a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and non-slip footwear or water shoes; guests should also bring a towel. Guests have the opportunity to observe sea turtles and other marine life; however, wildlife encounters are natural and uncontrolled, and sightings and proximity to marine life will vary. Guests must be 18 years or older to be served alcohol. Water conditions are generally warm, but visibility and currents can vary depending on weather and sea state.
This Yachting Land Adventure must be confirmed no later than 48 hours (2 days) prior to arrival in port; bookings may still be accepted after this deadline, up to the time of arrival, if space is available. Please note that cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival in port are non‑refundable. A minimum number of participants is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity. Please book on the Seadream.com website, or onboard, early to avoid disappointment. All adventures in the SeaDream Yachting Land Adventures program are subject to change. Final departure times will be published on board. Guests are encouraged to reserve online in advance, as tour availability may be limited once onboard.
