  • Barcelona

Barcelona, a Unesco Awarded City, is the second largest in Spain. It was the 12th-most-visited city in the world, and 4th most visited in Europe after London, Paris, and Rome. Especially remarkable is the work of architect Antoni Gaudi, which can be seen throughout the city. His best-known work is the immense but still unfinished church of the Sagrada Familia, which has been under construction since 1882 and is still financed by private donations. Completion is planned for 2026. SeaDream almost always docks downtown at the World Trade Center and is steps away from the famous boulevard of La Rambla. SeaDream has several land adventure options for you, view voyages for the various activities to participate in.

  • Collioure

Collioure is surely the most picturesque coastal resort on the Mediterranean coast of South-West France. With the backdrop of the Pyrenees mountains tumbling into the sea, the old harbour, the impressive castle, wonderful old churches, beach-side restaurants, narrow old streets, bijou boutiques, art trails and three beaches. Collioure was first settled by the Phoenicians and Greeks as a trading port and, since then, has been occupied by Romans, Barbarians, Arabs, Spaniards (at least 4 times) and finally after the Treaty of the Pyrenees in 1659, the French. The Knights Templars, built Collioure's impressive castle (Chateau-Royal) in the 12th Century and this was later used as a residence for the Kings of Mallorca. Collioure still makes a healthy living from its salted anchovies that are exported all over France.

  • Collioure - Collioure & Wine tasting

    Description

A short drive from Port Vendres harbor, takes you to lovely Collioure, a picturesque village and attractive little fishing harbor. Bathed by the Mediterranean waters against the backdrop of the Alberes Mountains, Collioure invites you to enjoy the benefits of its climate. It is easy to appreciate the atmosphere and admire painters who usually work on the little fishing harbor surrounded by cafes. The village blends in beautifully with the landscape: the famous church tower, the royal chateau, the beach and the mountains, all tinted with the same sepia tones, seemingly burnt by the sun, and the small white typically Mediterranean houses... Indeed, it was the beauty of Collioure that inspired such painters as Matisse, Picasso, Derain, Dyfy, Marquet, to name but a few.

After strolling around the waterfront, you will visit the church with a golden sculpted wooded altarpiece dating from XVIII century and the Majorca King's Castle, extended by Pierre IV of Aragon during the 14th century. (Closed on Tuesday). Conclude your visit to this charming village with a stop in one of the local wine cellars for a bit of wine tasting. Thereafter return to Port Vendres or remain in Collioure for lunch on your own. Should you remain in Collioure after the wine tasting, the short transfer back to Port Vendres is NOT included.

  • Tarragona - Roman Traces

    Description

Tarragona is the most important port city in Southern Catalonia. Set on a modest rise that spreads from a small headland, the town's historic quarter is brimming with Roman and medieval remains and has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

The tour starts with a tour of the city with a panoramic drive passing by the Mediterranean Balcony until you arrive at the ancient city gate “Portal of Roser”. Here you can admire the oldest Roman construction in Spain: the Roman City Walls of Tarragona. Understand what Tarragona was like during its splendor by seeing the Model of Roman Tarraco: a detailed model representing the city in the 2nd century A.D.

Continue the visit of the city by walking through its streets and admiring the beautiful Square Plaza de La Font. Walk to the Cathedral (outside visit) and learn about this important monument, situated on the hill top and built over a Roman temple. Continue to the Roman Circus (inside visit) which was once used to hold horse and chariot races. It is a long structure measuring 325 by 115 meters and it is estimated that it had a capacity for over 30,000 spectators.

The walk next heads towards the Mediterranean Balcony overlooking the sea, you will see the Amphitheater (outside visit), a building dating to the beginning of the second Century and that hosted many Gladiators spectacles. In the center of the Amphitheater, the remains of the ground plan of a Visigoth Basilica can be seen. Before returning to the pier you will have some free time at the Mediterranean Balcony.
