  • Tobago Cays - Southern Grenadines Exploration

    Description

    Board your catamaran and begin with a brief safety introduction before setting out on a scenic sail through the Southern Grenadines. During the approximately one-hour journey toward Mopion, enjoy views of Palm Island, Union Island and Petit St. Vincent while cruising through the surrounding Caribbean waters. The experience is primarily boat-based, allowing guests to take in the island scenery from the catamaran as they make their way toward the tour’s main stop. On arrival at Mopion, disembark and prepare to enjoy time ashore at this small island setting.

    Guests will have approximately one hour at Mopion for swimming, beach time, relaxation and photography. The area features soft sand, stone, shallow and deeper water, and guests may enjoy the beach and clear Caribbean waters at their own pace. Snorkel, mask and vest are available for those wishing to spend time in the water. After the visit, reboard the catamaran for the scenic return sail through the Southern Grenadines. Water, fruit juice and rum punch are served onboard, with rum punch offered after the swimming portion of the experience.

    Notes

    This tour involves boarding a Zodiac from the yacht and transferring to the catamaran. Guests must be able to safely board and disembark the catamaran without assistance and must be able to access the beach at Mopion directly from the catamaran. Catamaran boarding involves steps. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and the minimum age is 10 years. Guests planning to swim should be comfortable entering natural open water. Mobility devices cannot be stored onboard. Swimwear worn under comfortable lightweight clothing is recommended, along with a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and non-slip footwear or water shoes; guests should also bring a towel from the yacht. Guests must be 18 years or older to consume alcohol. Wind and sea state may affect comfort during both the outbound and return sailing portions. Guests who are prone to seasickness or motion sickness should take into consideration that a significant portion of the excursion is spent aboard a catamaran in open waters.

  • Port Elizabeth, Bequia - Bequia Sunset Catamaran Cruise

    Description

    Board your catamaran in Port Elizabeth and receive a safety briefing before setting out along Bequia’s coastline. As the vessel leaves the harbour, settle in on deck and take in views of waterfront villages, secluded bays, sandy beaches, and the island’s green hillsides. During the cruise, rum punch and tropical fruit juice are served alongside a selection of light local canapés. The catamaran remains on the water throughout the experience, allowing you to enjoy the coastline from a relaxed vantage point as the afternoon light begins to soften.

    As golden hour develops, continue cruising while the setting sun changes the colours of the Caribbean sky, creating opportunities for photographs from the deck. At sunset, raise a glass of sparkling wine while taking in the surrounding seascape and the coastline of Bequia. Afterwards, remain aboard for the return journey as twilight settles over the island and the catamaran makes its way back toward Port Elizabeth. On arrival at the harbour, disembark the vessel and conclude the evening after a final view of Bequia from the water.

    Notes

    Boarding and disembarkation involve steps and movement on the vessel, and guests with limited mobility may participate only if they are able to safely board and disembark the catamaran without assistance. The minimum age is 6 years. Guests who are prone to motion sickness may wish to take their usual precautions before boarding. Comfortable casual evening attire is recommended, together with flat, secure, non-slip footwear, as catamaran decks and boarding areas may become wet. Alcoholic beverages are served only to guests aged 18 or older. The tour operates with an afternoon departure only, timed to coincide with sunset and the ship’s schedule.

  • Mount Wynne - No Yachting Land Adventures - Mount Wynne

    Description

    The Mt. Wynne beach is one of the best black sand beaches in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. This secluded location is your destination to relax on the beach or snorkel in the clear waters over brain, tube and elkhorn corals with colorful schools of fish swimming with you. There are no Yachting Land Adventures offered in this port.

  • Rodney Bay - The Spirit of St. Lucia

    Description

    Enjoy and experience an excursion that takes you on a journey of amazing scenery, tour and rum tasting at the Rum Distillery and local snacks at the Pink Plantation House.

    Depart Rodney Bay for a drive through the city of Castries then onto Morne Fortune called the ‘Hill of Good Luck’ to the Morne viewpoint which offers spectacular views of the city as well as its environs. Continue down into the Cul De Sac Valley to the only Rum Distillery on the Island. Here you will see how this heart-warming nectar is produced. The guided tour includes a video presentation and afterwards you’ll see how a village street, spice market and carnival, have been recreated to give an insight into the lifestyle and spirit of St. Lucians. Enjoy a tasting of finished products at the distillery’s laboratory. Have the opportunity of purchasing locally made rum products before you take a drive to the famous Marigot Bay known for its role in movies such as the original Dr. Doo Little starring Rex Harrison. Overlook one of the most beautiful bays in the Caribbean. As you say good bye to Marigot Bay, you will continue onto the Pink Plantation House. Your host or hostess will welcome you with a fruit Juice on arrival. Walk through the gardens and enjoy amazing views of the city and Northern landscape. Sample freshly prepared local snacks such as accras (fish cakes) and bakes. Depart the Pink Plantation House for drive back to Pigeon Island/Rodney Bay and your yacht.

    On weekends the distillery is not open and a different venue will be visited instead. Guests must be in good health and physical condition to participate in this tour. This tour is not recommended for guests with heart, respiratory, back, leg, hip, or neck conditions. Due to the type of buses used, which are Japanese-style buses, legroom may be limited. Children must remain under the supervision of their parent or guardian at all times during the tour. Camouflage clothing is prohibited on the island.

  • South Friars Bay - The Soul of St. Kitts - South Friars Bay

    Description

    This SeaDream Land Adventure offers the must-see highlights and the soul of St. Kitts.

    Departing from the tender pier by bus, you'll enjoy a scenic drive through the mountainous area of Frigate Bay and make your way into Basseterre, the capital city. As you drive through the bustling town, sit back and view sights such as the Berkeley Memorial, Independence Square and the impressive Roman Catholic Cathedral.

    Make your way next to Fairview Great House and Botanical Gardens, where you will learn more about the restored West Indian plantation home built in 1701 and the island's complex history. You will then be given the opportunity to sample three flavors of Caribbean rum and afterwards enjoy the Fairview Great House signature cocktail – a lemongrass mojito.

    Next you drive to Romney Manor’s gardens, you will see (from the outside) a piece of 17th-century history, where Thomas Jefferson's great grandfather Samuel was the original owner. The lacy wooden architecture and tropical gardens are a feast for the eyes. You may even be fortunate enough to see hummingbirds and green vervet monkeys. Afterwards, visit Caribelle Batik. Here you see how locals create each one-of-a-kind article of clothing and decorative masterpiece.

    Complete your Adventure with a visit to Brimstone Hill Fortress. This UNESCO World Heritage Site the Gibraltar of the West Indies. This magnificent fortress sits impressively atop 38 acres of limestone and sulfur composites, with spectacular views over the St. Kitts mountain range, sugar cane fields, Caribbean Sea and neighboring islands. Designed by the British and built by slaves, the Fortress is testimony to European colonial expansion, the African slave trade and the emergence of new societies in the Caribbean.

    The last stop of the adventure is at Timothy Hill to take in breathtaking 360-degree views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean sides of the island before returning to your SeaDream yacht.

  • Gustavia - Sailing the Leeward Coast

    Description

    Board a beautiful catamaran and set sail on a leisurely cruise toward Pointe de Colombier and its sheltered bay. Along the way, enjoy scenic coastal views and a panorama of the impressive mega yachts at anchor.

    Upon arrival in Colombier Bay, enjoy approximately one hour to relax on board, sunbathe, swim in the inviting waters, or simply unwind on deck with a book. A selection of refreshments, including mineral water, soft drinks, beer, and Miguel’s famous rum punch, will be served, and the crew will be available to assist throughout the experience.

    After your time in the bay, sail back to Gustavia, where you may choose to explore the town independently before returning to your SeaDream yacht.

    Notes

    Guests must be at least 7 years old to participate. This tour requires embarking and disembarking the catamaran and is not recommended for guests with physical limitations. It is not wheelchair accessible. Guests must remove their shoes before boarding. Guests are recommended to wear a swimsuit, cover-up, hat, and biodegradable sunscreen. Towels will be available at the ship’s gangway prior to tour departure. Guests participating in swimming or any water activity do so at their own risk, in accordance with French regulations. The catamaran crew is not licensed as a snorkel, dive, or swimming center, nor certified as diving instructors. Snorkeling is not allowed under French regulations. Guests will get wet on this excursion; any electronic devices, such as cell phones and cameras, as well as any valuable items, must be stored in a sealable waterproof dry bag or left on board the ship. Any damage to these items is the responsibility of the guests. Alcoholic beverages should not be consumed before taking part in any water activities. Operation of this excursion is dependent on prevailing weather conditions.

  • Marigot - French & Dutch Island Discovery

    Description

    Discover 2 countries on one island during this unusual island excursion.

    Departing from Marigot Port, you will head towards Peak Paradise, the highest elevation on the island at 1,456 feet. The journey continues past Grand Case, known as the culinary capital of the Caribbean, and along Orient Beach before arriving at Paradise Lookout Point. Here, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the famous Orient Beach and the neighboring island of St. Barth, with an opportunity to stop and take photos. The tour then continues through Quartier d'Orléans, also known as the French Quarter, before heading toward the eastern side of the island to view our resident iguanas, originally from Curaçao. You will then pass through Coralita Bay, where you can take in spectacular views of Tintamarre, Pinel Island, and a closer view of St. Barth, while stopping for photos.

    Next, you will visit the French Oyster Bay viewpoint for a stunning view of the channel separating the French and Dutch sides of the island. Afterward, you will cross the open border into Philipsburg, the Dutch side.Upon arrival, you will have approximately one hour of free time to shop along the famous Front Street or stroll the Boardwalk, where you'll find a variety of restaurants, bars, and even ice cream parlors. From here, you can also enjoy excellent views of the Dr. A.C. Wathey Cruise & Cargo Facility, one of the largest cruise ports in the Caribbean.

    The journey then continues to Cay Hill Lookout Point, offering panoramic views and a photo opportunity overlooking Simpson Bay Lagoon, the largest enclosed lagoon in the Caribbean, as well as Simpson Bay Beach and Princess Juliana International Airport. At the world-famous Sunset Beach Bar, you will experience the incredible spectacle of aircraft landing just overhead while enjoying a refreshment of choice.

    After this memorable experience, you will return to Marigot Port and your yacht.

    The Coralita photo stop involves 10 stairs and rocky terrain, while access to Sunset Beach Bar requires navigating 4 steps on paved terrain. Comfortable clothing and shoes, a hat, and sunscreen are recommended.
