• Palamos - Gorgeous Girona (from Palamos)

  Description

  A scenic one-hour drive west from Palamos brings you to the beautiful town of Girona, known as the Immortal City. Girona is rich in historic treasures and is one of the most interesting monumental cities in Spain.
  
  First, you'll stop at the El Call area, one of the best-preserved the Jewish Quarters in Europe, continuously inhabited for almost seven centuries. At the very heart of the Jewish Quarter are the Arab Baths with their beautiful arches. In spite of the name, the construction of the baths is western Romanesque style. Visit the Bonastruch Ca Porta Museum on the site of the old synagogue, as well as the medieval walls of the city and the remains of the Gironella Tower, destroyed by Napoleon during his retreat in 1814. You can't miss viewing the outside of the great Catalonian Romanesque Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants. Enjoy some free time to browse this historic city your own before re-boarding the coach to return to your SeaDream yacht in Palamos.

• Palamos - The Emporada Wine Route

  Description

  An extraordinary wine experience awaits you at Empordà on the Costa Brava. The Empordà Wine Route immerses you in the deep-rooted traditions of the area, dating as far back as the Roman times. Discover the secrets of red, white and rosé Empordà wines when visiting two famous cellars of this region.
  
  The Eccociwine Cellar, within the Gavarres Nature Reserve, was built hidden underground and next to an ancestral farmhouse which names the property and the best wine, Ca l’Elsa. The medieval village of Sant Marti Vell reflects a bygone era and their cellar is the only one in the region of Girona that has recovered the vineyard cultivation that was considered thoroughly lost in history. The vines grow surrounded by pine, cork oaks and holm oak woods in a privileged natural environment. The young cellar was built approximately 10 years ago, however the processes at the vineyard reflect local ancestral traditions within a traditional and environmentally respectful lifestyle. A tasting is enjoyed of their fine wines before departing to the second cellar called Mas Molla Cellar.
  
  The natural balance of the fields is basic for a good grape to bring out the best quality in the wine. This is the secret of the farmers wine at Mas Molla Cellar. The land at each vineyard marks the personality their wines; according to the altitude of the vines, the proportion of pebbles and clay, the slope and insolation. Summer weather creates a special vintage based on the temperature day / night, the north wind, the rainfall, etc. The Mas Molla Cellar winery has maintained a traditional system of making wine, based on sulfur (18th century) and old wooden boots (16th century). See how they let nature do the fermentation process making the wine of each vintage and each barrel unrepeatable and enjoy a tasting after the tour.

• Collioure - Perpignan and the Mallorca Palace

• Collioure - Vermeille Coast Prestige and Wine

  Description

  Set out from Collioure for a panoramic journey along the celebrated Côte Vermeille, a coastline renowned for its dramatic cliffs, terraced vineyards, and charming Mediterranean villages. As your deluxe coach winds south toward the Spanish border, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the sea, picturesque coves, and elegant homes perched above the water. • Cassis - Bandol & Provence Wines

  Description

  On this Yachting Land Adventure, you can explore Bandol and enjoy a tasting of wines and local products at one of the fine Domains located in the region of the Côtes de Provence.
  
  Bandol, a seaside resort with beautiful beaches, coves and wine estates is undoubtedly the most famous region in Provence for the Bandol Rose wines which are among the best in France. Many vineyards have the famous Mourvèdre grape which apart the uniqueness of the Bandol wine. It is one of Provence’s most internationally recognized wine regions. This area was also the first Roman settlement in France, called “Provincia Nostra”, by the Romans; and where the name Provence originates from.
  
  Travel by coach to Bandol where you will savor the beauty and elegance of this long-time retreat for artists and writers. After visiting Bandol and some free time, the coach will take you along the area of St Cyr sur Mer, a stunning beach location surrounded by pine forests, on the way to the wine region.
  
  Upon arrival at Domain de la Fregate, you will find yourself deep in Provence and in the heart of the Bandol wine region. Here you will learn their wine-making techniques and be invited for a visit of their famous vineyard. Since 1882, the Frégate family has grown and cultivated these vineyards with love. A tasting of the Domaine de Fregate Bandol wines will be complimented with local products, as well as an olive oil tasting at the winery. • Cassis - Hilltop Village of Castellet & Honey Factory

  Description

  Taste the nectar of the Gods on this Yachting Land Adventure to a Provence village with a local honey tasting.
  
  Departing from Cassis, you will visit the absolutely charming Castellet, a typical Provencal hilltop village. Perched on a wooded hill above the vineyards, this remarkable stronghold, formerly owned by the Lords of Les Baux, has well-preserved ramparts, a carefully restored 12 C church, a castle dating back in part to the 11th century.
  
  Entering by two fortified gates “Le Portail” and “ Le Portalet ”, you will start the visit walking around the narrow streets up to the Castle, now home to the town hall. See the St. Sauveur church with its proud displayed windows, before joining the “Trou de Madame ” from where you will enjoy an expansive view inland towards St Baume and Paul Ricard Circuit. Time at leisure will be given to explore the arts and craft workshops –painting, pottery, hollow-ware and lovely small stores selling soaps and fragrances. Afterwards, you will be invited for a visit to a typical “Miellerie”, a honey factory.
  
  Honey collection is an ancient activity. Humans began hunting for honey more than 8,000 years ago. The oldest known honey remains were found in the country of Georgia. Archaeologists found honey remains on the inner surface of clay vessels unearthed in an ancient tomb and in ancient Greece. You will learn all about the honey from the past, to current production techniques and consumption. Also, enjoy a honey tasting, before driving back to Cassis and your SeaDream yacht.

• Sanary-sur-Mer - Easy Wheels Coastal E-Bike Adventure

  Discover the many facets of Sanary while on two wheels that are assisted with electricity; providing that glide along or uphill climb experience when you want it!
  
  On this Yachting Land Adventure, you will be assigned to your e-bike by an instructor waiting for you at the pier. When comfortable the group will set off for a coastal cruising adventure by 2 wheels exploring the beautiful Sanary area and nearby destinations. At a point along the way, the group will pause for a refreshment break and then head back to the pier.

• Sanary-sur-Mer - Hilltop Castellet & Wine Tasting

  Description

  Discover the ancient Roman roots of Provence, France, as you explore a charming village and indulge in a delightful wine tasting during this Provencal encounter.
  
  Departing from Sanary by coach, you will travel to Domaine Begude. In Provencal dialect, “beguda” means drink. Since the Middle Ages, the property passed over at least 5 different family owners. For a long time, La Bégude was a stopover on the road leading from Marseille to Toulon, a shelter for the night where travelers and pilgrims could find something to eat and to drink. It is located at 410 meters above sea level, more than 300 hectares of land sleep in the shade of Sainte Baume. Like many other Wine Properties of the region, the Domain is organic agriculture certified. Upon arrival, you have an opportunity to visit and enjoy a tasting experience accompanied by delicious olive bread. It's the perfect chance to relax and immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of nature.
  
  Afterwards, you will ascend to the village of Castellet, a typical Provencal hilltop village. • St. Tropez - Saint-Tropez E-Biking

  Description

  E-cycling around Saint Tropez in the fall is another great way to explore this hot French Riviera destination. Your instructor will be waiting for you at the pier, providing you with a helmet, e-bike, and safety instructions.
  
  Then you will depart on your e-bike to discover the village of Saint Tropez, cycling along the narrow side roads and even traveling into the countryside passing vineyards in the shadows of tall pine trees. Take in the fragrant scents of lavender, eucalyptus, and pine in the fresh air on your powered e-bike exploring Saint Tropez.

• St. Tropez - Wine & Port Grimaud

  Description

  Indulge in a wine lover's dream tour from St Tropez, exploring renowned vineyards, visiting the historic Chateau St Martin for a wine tasting, and ending with a picturesque stop at Port Grimaud.
  
  Departing from St Tropez, you will drive to reach Taradeau where Chateau St Martin is located. You will enjoy the countryside, passing by some of the most celebrated district’s vineyards: Appellation Côtes de Provence and reach your destination. The history of Chateau St Martin goes back to the Roman times. The Domain, “Cru Classé”, is 100 hectares and belongs to the same aristocratic family since 1740. You will discover beautiful sights, vineyards and have a special tasting of their wine production, accompanied by some toasts.
  
  After your visit, re-board your bus and on the way back to St Tropez, you will make a stop at Port Grimaud. • Fréjus - Château d’Esclans – The Home of Whispering Angel

  Venture into the heart of Provence to visit Château d’Esclans, widely regarded as the world’s leading producer of premium rosé wines. • Fréjus - Esterel Massif Discovery Hike

  Description

• Fréjus - Fréjus on Foot – From Roman Port to Provençal Charm

• Fréjus - The Whispering Angels of Chateau D’Esclans

  Description

  Visit Chateau d’Esclans the world’s best rose wine producer for a private tasting of their Whispering Angels wine.
  
  Travel by coach from the yacht through the Provence countryside to the famous Chateau d’Esclans. Situated in the cool hills in the heart of Provence, the original castle – of which only the cellars now remain – was built before the 12th century. In 1201, Gérard de Villeneuve, heir to a wealthy Marseille family, became the owner of the castle and most of the land in the Esclans Valley. Afterwards, these were then sold in parcels. It has been owned and run by Sacha Lichine since 2006. Along with Patrick Leon, formally the Managing Director of Mouton Rothschild, Sacha set out to craft a world-class brand that aims at producing the greatest rosé on the planet.
  
  This Yachting Land Adventure offers the opportunity to visit this winery, most famous for its old-vine Grenache, much of which was planted in the early part of the 20th century. These vines are hand-picked as close to sunrise as possible and blended with equally cared for Vermentino. The top cuvées are then oak aged and capable of aging and improving for years. Esclans sells approximately 7 million bottles, with more than 95% exported, with the United States in the lead (65% of sales) ahead of Great Britain and France in third place.
  
  The best-selling cuvée remains the Whispering Angels a benchmark of classic Côtes de Provence rosé wines. You will enjoy a tasting of 4 of their famous wines in the Chateau. Created in 2006 when the Chateau was acquired by Sacha Lichine, this wine is dry on the palate, with great aromatic intensity, the nose is clean, perfect for a wide variety of dishes. Sacha’s ambition was to create the best rosés in the world, thus initiating the “renaissance of rosé”. New and innovative winemaking methods were introduced, changing completely the styles of rosés produced in this region.

• Nice - Scenic Riviera, Menton & Perfume in Eze

  Description

  This scenic sightseeing tour will show you the French Riviera from Nice to Menton. Included is a stop at picturesque Menton for time at leisure and at Eze for the visit of the Perfume Factory.
  
  This relaxing sightseeing tour will take you by the famous Corniche roads with spectacular views of mountains and rocky creeks of the coastline. Pass Nice and follow the middle Corniche forward to Eze, where you stop underneath the medieval village for a visit of the Perfume factory and have some free time to explore the handicraft.
  
  Then continue by the middle Corniche surrounding Monaco and observe some amazing views over the Principality while traveling forward toward the Italian Riviera. Stop in Menton, the last French town at the Italian Border which claims to be the warmest of the French Riviera resorts. Menton offers a particular pretty sea border and a charming Old Town with plenty of cozy shops. Enjoy some time on your own here to browse the local boutiques, have a snack at a bistro, or simply relax and gaze out over the shimmering sea.
