  • Cruz Bay, St. John - Captain for a Day: St. John Dinghy Full-Day Adventure

    Description

    Enjoy a full-day of cruising around the beaches of St. John’s in your own private dinghy! After a five-minute walk from the tender pier, you will be greeted by a team member of Wharfside Water Sports where your dinghy awaits. Here your instructor will provide an orientation of the boat and the local beaches you will want to explore. You will be briefed on all the ins and outs of taking the dinghy out and the best spots to go to for drinks, lunch, and snorkeling.

    This Dinghy Experience gives you the ability to explore St. John’s North Shore Beaches without the hassle of parking a car or dealing with taxis. The best part is that you can pull the dinghy straight up onto the beach! Enjoy St. John from the water, as your own captain, and make the adventure up as you go.     The Lovango Resort & Beach Club located on a private island just off St. John, USVI and has been called “The USVI’s buzziest new private island resort” by Vogue Magazine. Discover the exclusive Lovango Resort & Beach Club on this amazing Yachting Land Adventure created especially for SeaDream guests.

    Hop on your yacht’s tender for a direct, hassle-free ride to this private island paradise. Here, you will enjoy waterfront amenities such as a restaurant, bars, and boutique shopping – considered by many as the best in the Caribbean. This renowned Beach Club Experience features your own chaise lounge with towels, an umbrella, along with food and drinks delivered to your seat (at an additional cost), an infinity pool with spectacular views of the USVI.   • Cruz Bay, St. John - Virgin Island Footsteps to Tranquil Waters

    Description

    Explore the beauty of the Virgin Islands National Park on a one-mile hike from the quaint village of Cruz Bay to Salomon Beach. Enjoy powdery white sands and palms swaying gently in the breeze during the allotted beach time.

    Starting in the quaint village of Cruz Bay, restroom facilities are available at the Virgin Islands National Park's Visitor’s Center before following your Nature Guide on a one-mile hike along the Lind Point Trail to Solomon and/or Honeymoon Beach on the North Shore of St. John. Learn about the amazing diversity of plants and animals that exist- here. Listen as your guide tells you about the island’s history as you follow along the trail to one of St. John’s most picturesque beaches, Solomon Beach.

    During your visit to the Beach, you will enjoy breathtaking tropical ocean vistas at this private and exclusive beach. Bath in crystal-clear turquoise waters and relax. The final portion of the hike returns you back along the one-mile hike on the Lind Point Trail back to your boat’s tender adjacent to the quaint Mongoose Junction Shopping Mall. This SeaDream Yachting Land Adventure is an excellent hiking tour for people who can walk for one hour and ten minutes.

  • Prickly Pear - The Baths - Roundtrip Prickly Pear

    Description

    This is the "Must-see & Do" Yachting Land Adventure on Virgin Gorda, if not in the entire British Virgin Islands. From the pier in North Sound, you and your fellow SeaDreamers will take a 45-minute safari wagon ride over the Gorda Peak National Park to The Baths, an intriguing group of sea caves and unusual rock formations, spectacularly set on an amazing beach. From the parking area follow the winding footpath down to the beach to explore this geological wonder. Wade knee deep through the sea caves formed by mammoth boulders and bask in the shafts of sunlight pouring through the natural ceiling into the pools below. Learn about the boulders' origins and the many curious names given to the rock formations. Swim, relax and enjoy the ambiance of this piece of paradise. Then, retrace your footprints in the sand and ascend the path to the Top of the Baths where you will enjoy a fresh fruit smoothie. There is also time to relax and take a dip in the pool before departing via the safari wagons for the return to your SeaDream yacht ion time for your Beach Party.

    Please bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. The portion of the adventure involving actual exploration of the cave area can be considered strenuous to some so set your own pace; do as much or as little as you wish. Guests who prefer to enjoy the beach during this portion of the adventure are welcome to do so. Wear comfortable walking shoes as the footpath to The Baths is uneven and water shoes (not flip flops) in the water. While walking the path through The Baths, your feet will get wet. A backpack will be more convenient than a shoulder bag when walking through The Baths. A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity.     Take the scenic route to Savi Beach where every day is a celebration. Inspired by Anguilla's famous hospitality, Savi Beach ensures that everyone has an exceedingly great day.     Description

    Discover Shoal Bay Beach, one of the top beaches in the world, on this Yachting Land Adventure that includes your transfers with a reserved beach lounge chair and shared umbrella. Upon arrival a cool cocktail welcomes you at this stunning place.

    This beach can compete with any beach in the world and also has a great reef for snorkeling. Shoal Bay is the most popular beach in Anguilla and attracts locals, tourists, and day trippers from the neighboring island of St. Martin for a good reason.

    You will be transferred to Shoal Bay Beach and greeted with a cocktail upon your arrival. Here you will have a reserved beach lounge chair and shared umbrella waiting for you. Your time here is on your own schedule. You can relax and enjoy the view of the two-mile sandy beach, swim, snorkel or take a stroll in the fine sand from one end to the other. Restaurants, beach bars and hotels line Shoal Bay's shores. Additional water sports equipment can be rented directly if you wish.   • Sandy Ground - Speed Boat Beach Hopping & Snorkeling

    Description

    Board a private speed boat and set off to your first snorkel spot at Little Bay, the tiniest beach on Anguilla and one of the most beautiful locations to snorkel. It is also one of the most private beaches on Anguilla, since the only way to get there is by foot or by water. Since it is protected by high cliffs on three sides there is hardly any surf, making it a perfect snorkel stop. Snorkeling in these crystal-clear warm waters will be a rewarding experience with plenty of colorful fish, squids and shells. In general, Anguilla is well known for its snorkeling and has an abundance of fish; you can find the feisty little black-barred Sergeant Major and plenty of colorful Wrasses, Snappers and Grunts. Then on to the second snorkel stop, which is at Shoal Bay, where you will find a reef abundant with coral and sea fans, along with Parrot Fish, Blue Tang and even Trunk Fish, the ones that look like little triangular boxes. After this, the third stop will be Sandy Island also well known for its excellent snorkeling. After this last snorkel experience, you will board the speed boat to return to the pier in Road Bay while enjoying a well-deserved rum punch.

  • Gustavia - Free-Styling (Car) Exploration

    Description

    Here is a chance for adventuring guests to get away from the crowds, get behind the wheel, and enjoy the lush countryside on a self-guided tour. You will be escorted from the pier to the nearby starting point and after brief formalities you will be given the keys to your rental car.

    Supplied with a map of the island, you are ready to explore this beautiful island at your own pace. The cost is for the car – from one to four guests can explore at just one rate. Gas is included in the rental price.

    Private shuttle will pick up the drivers (and only the drivers) by the pier and drive a short distance to the airport to pick up their car. Drivers will then come back to the pier to pick up their passengers.

    The duration of your rental may depend on when your yacht arrives and is for a maximum of 24 hours. When returning the car, drivers will first drop off passengers at the pier. For same-day return, the car must be brought back to the airport before 5:00pm. If the yacht is staying overnight, guests can return by 9:00am the next morning.

    Driving license and credit card will be needed for 1st and 2nd driver. (NOTE: With the exception of American Express, all other credit cards are accepted). An insurance hold will be placed on the credit card for Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) in the amount of €1,500. This hold will be fully or partially charged to the driver’s credit card in the event the car is returned damaged.

  • Gustavia - Jet Ski Exclusive to Coco Island

    Description

    What a thrilling way to discover St Barth's most beautiful beaches!
    Escorted by professional instructors you will leave from Gustavia harbor to Shell Beach, discover Gouverneur Beach, then the beautiful Salines Beach before heading towards Coco Island, 0.6 miles South from St Barth.
    There you will enjoy a 15-minute swim break in relaxing water before picking up your jet-skis and heading back to Gustavia.

    THE PRICE SHOWN IS PER JET SKI, NOT PER GUEST. Only 1 person needs to purchase a ticket whether you plan to ride single or double on the jet ski. Minimum & Maximum spaces refer to quantity of jet skis, not individuals.

    Minimum age is 16 years old to drive the jet skis and must present a valid ID. Guests will be required to sign a waiver before this Yachting Land Adventure begins.
    If desired, guests can be provided (at no cost) goggles to avoid having salt spray in their eyes.

    The tour is not suitable for guests with back problems, nor guests who are pregnant. Guests should bring sunglasses, sun cream, a towel and wear swimwear. There is a weight restriction per jet ski of no more than 400 lbs. (182 kg).

    For calls to St. Barths during the holiday period (i.e., December 22nd to January 3rd), due to heavy demand, our operator has a 7-day cancellation policy.

  • Gustavia - Sailing the Leeward Coast

    Description

    Board a beautiful catamaran and set sail for a lovely, leisurely cruise in the direction of “Pointe de Colombier” and its sheltered bay. En route, you will enjoy a scenic panorama, while passing the mega yachts at anchor. Once at anchor in Colombier Bay, you will be able to enjoy sunbathing and swimming in the warm waters of the bay or just relaxing on the trampoline net. The helpful crew will be there to assist you at all times and offer you your choice of mineral water, soft drinks, beer, the famous Miguel’s rum punch to keep you refreshed. Upon return to Gustavia, you may choose to stay in town and explore on your own, or return directly to your SeaDream yacht.

    Please wear your swimsuit and bring sunscreen plus a towel from the gangway. As per French Regulations, any guests participating in swimming or a water activity will do so at their own risk.

    No Yachting Land Adventures (YLAs) are offered on January 1st in St. Barths.   • Gustavia - Scuba Diving in St. Barths Marine Reserve

    Description

    Discover the richness of St Barths' flora and fauna with accredited instructors guiding you through numerous sites of Saint-Barthelemy’s Protected Marine Reserve. This reserve spans 1,200 hectares of marine territory and is a haven of marine life including dolphins, sponges, gorgonians, sea urchins, crustaceans, turtles, and coral reefs. This 3-hour program includes a one-tank dive at a pre-set time in the afternoon (likely at 2pm) but can be modified depending upon availability.

    Any electronic devices (such as cell phones, cameras, etc.), as well as any valuable items must be stored in a sealable, waterproof dry bag. Any damage occurring to these items is the responsibility of the guests. Alcoholic beverages should not be consumed prior to taking part in any water activities. This program is not recommended for guests with physical limitations, and it is not wheelchair accessible.

    Notes

    This SeaDream Yachting Land Adventure (YLA) is not exclusive. Guests will participate in this YLA with other non-SeaDream guests at a pre-determined time in the afternoon. Longer, two-tank dives can be arranged for the morning, but this offer will need to be coordinated and sold onboard at a slightly higher price.
    Participation in this excursion requires guests to be certified divers. All participants must present valid dive certification documents prior to the dive.

  • Gustavia - Snorkeling Adventure

    Description

    Take a RIB boat ride across the harbor to snorkel near a reef while observing reef fish and marine life in the crystal-clear waters off St Barts. Keep an eye out for green sea turtles, an endangered but relatively abundant species in these waters.

    From the pier side in Gustavia Harbor, you will board an open-air RIB boat to begin this excursion. The captain will determine where the best site is to anchor, based upon the weather and sea conditions of the day. If possible, the snorkeling will be just outside the harbor to maximize your snorkeling time. This is where the waters are usually crystal-clear and filled with reef fish. You may spot brilliantly colored angelfish, large groupers, and schools of queen triggerfish. One of the most curious-looking species is the four-eye butterflyfish, which is named for the two dark spots – or false eyes – on the sides of its tail, which are meant to confuse predators. The endangered green sea turtles also gracefully swim in these waters too. You may see them feeding on the seagrass and algae on the reef. They are known as being the largest of all sea turtles and the only ones that are herbivores.

    After your time in the water, you will climb aboard the RIB boat ladder for the journey back to the pier and the tender waiting to return you to your SeaDream yacht. Alternatively, you can stay in town and browse the shops to return on your own when ready.

    Guests should be at least 12 years old to participate, good swimmers and in good physical condition to get on and off the boat using a ladder with 6 steps. While turtle and fish sightings are very likely, they cannot be guaranteed.

    On this Yachting Land Adventure, you will sail along the island’s Leeward coastline with a first stop at Divi Little Bay to snorkel and enjoy a first dip in the St. Maarten waters. All snorkeling gear is provided and any instruction for first time snorkelers.

    Next, continue sailing down the coast to Mullet Bay, a stunning beach and certainly amongst the best that St. Maarten has to offer.   • Philipsburg - French & Dutch Island Discovery

    Description

    Discover both international sides of the island on this comprehensive island exploration that includes a stop for a refreshment while watching planes land at the Princess Juliana International Airport.

    Depart Philipsburg port heading towards Coralita Lookout Point on the Atlantic Ocean side of the island and take in a bird’s eye view of St. Barth. Continue to world famous Orient Bay, the longest strip of pristine sandy beach and amazing eateries on the island. Move on to Grand Case, a quaint fishing village and the Gourmet Capital of the Caribbean, boasting the very best restaurants and service in the area. You will pass, the highest elevation on the island, Paradise Peak and carry on to Marigot, the capital of French St. Martin. Here you will have 45 minutes of free time to shop at the local market and sample some of the amazing French pastries at the bakery. Next you will cross the International Border to the Dutch side of the island.

    The coach will cross over the causeway bridge and head to Maho and Sunset Beach Bar. Experience the amazing spectacle of planes landing right overhead while enjoying a refreshing local favorite the Guavaberry Colada. Guavaberry rum is a legendary folk liqueur of St. Maarten/St. Martin and is an integral part of local culture and tradition. It is made from fine oak aged rum, sugar cane, and wild local Guavaberries – not to be mistaken with guavas. Guavaberries are rare and can only be found high in the hills in the center of the island as a bright orange or as a red/black fruit. After this fun experience you will head to Philipsburg, the capital of the Dutch side, via Simpson Bay and Cay Hill Lookout Point, for views and an opportunity to take some photos. You will be dropped off at the port where you have some free time to do some shopping on well-known Front Street or stroll along the Boardwalk to find many restaurants, bars and even ice cream parlors, and return to the yacht when you are ready.

    The benefits of paddling a transparent kayak will be very clear to you as you explore the aquarium-like waters of Les Saintes in a Molokini kayak that is your own personal window on the water.   • Terre De Haut, Îles des Saintes - French Flavors - Caribbean Style

    Description

    Embark and experience French flavors with a Caribbean twist by boarding a boat to go to the Bois Joli Hotel – a small family-owned, European-style hotel located in the southwest corner of the island.

    Here you will be welcomed by your guide who will give you a presentation of the archipelago.

    Enjoy a short walk to the viewpoint where you will be able to take pictures of the "Pain de Sucre" which is translated into Sugarloaf. Then, back at the hotel, you will discover and taste the French gastronomy revisited by the local flavors. There will be local syrup made from fruit, herbs, or spices - flavors depending on availability, local punch made with tropical fruit. There will also be rum from Guadeloupe paired with local sweets and chocolate.

    Before heading back to your yacht, you can enjoy some free time at the beach. For your comfort you will also have a deck chair available.

    Journey to the exquisite island of Mustique where you can explore for a day on this private catamaran adventure!

    Bequia is located only 5 miles from the magical island of Mustique. This small island measures 3 miles long by 1.5 miles wide, is privately owned and has long attracted the elite of the world including the British Royalty. Mustique has a perfect blend of simplicity, comfort and sophistication that appeal to an international and cosmopolitan clientele.

    Board your private catamaran from Bequia for a scenic coastal boat ride to Mustique. Along the Bequia coastline you will view some rather unusual homes set in amazing natural rock formations and arches known as ‘The Moon Hole.” You will also pass the historic whaling island of Petit Nevis. When you near the island of Mustique, your vessel will sail closer to the coast while the knowledgeable guide onboard will point out where the luxurious houses of the rich and famous can be seen from the water. See the homes of stars like David Bowie, Ralph Lauren & Sir Paul McCartney. The catamaran continues to dock on the island next to the famous Basil’s Bar.     On Mustique you are free to do as you please until it is time for some lunch at the fun and famous Basil’s Bar. During your free time on Mustique, you may hire one of the limited island taxis for an in-depth island tour. If shopping is your fancy, Mustique has two quaint boutiques filled with souvenirs and other items. After your self-made adventure, return to the catamaran where rum punch and soft drinks are served during the journey back to Bequia and your awaiting yacht.

    Join your fellow SeaDreamers on a fun snorkeling expedition and scenic cruise off the coastline of Bequia. There is perhaps no better way to enjoy the waters of the Caribbean than a bit of sightseeing and snorkeling -- just the right combination to provide a sense of relaxation and adventure simultaneously.

    Climb aboard a sleek bower boat and set off toward one of the island's best snorkel sites. As you sail past, you will notice some rather unusual homes set into amazing natural rock formations and arches -- an area known as Moon Hole. Keep your eye out for the island of Mustique in the far distance.

    Once you are in the water, equipped with mask and snorkel, keep an eye out for tiny shellfish, sea fans, and sponges in their natural habitat, and watch as tropical fish dart playfully around you. Return to the boat where the captain's famous rum punch will be served. Enjoy the scenery as you cruise to the beach for a quick beach stop at Princess Margaret beach.
