Paddle along the beautiful coastline of Portofino's Marine Protected Area on this fun kayaking adventure. Your guide will greet you at the tender pier and take you to a private minivan, for a brief transfer to the nearby Kayaking Club. The instructor will welcome you and provide an orientation including environmental guide, kayaking techniques and then test your skills in the water to determine the most enjoyable course for the group.

First everyone will paddle to Paraggi's Bay, forbidden to boat traffic; this is an ideal place to be enjoyed from the sea. Then, coasting along Niasca Bay, you reach Portofino's small harbor where, the most curious, can zigzag through the traditional Ligurian fishing boats. Continue traveling past small inlets, wild cliffs, caves and solitary beaches mostly only accessible from the sea. The next destination is Olivetta Beach, for a view of the prominent Portofino Lighthouse. After this pause, the course takes you toward Niasca Beach, admiring continually the seabed and the wonderful coast section where trees seem to dip into the sea. Description

Portofino is known as the resort of the rich and famous, but there is more to see here than just people. As you come ashore today join your guide for a 10-minute walk to Castle Brown which overlooks, from above the Gulf of Tigullio, the seafaring village of Portofino, one of the most beautiful and famous places in the world.

Explore Castle Brown, with its Mediterranean garden rich of flowers, pergolas and rose gardens together with a breathtaking view over the bay. Examine the bas-reliefs and revivalist architectural features in marble and slate and majolica tiles. There is also a great triptych work of art from the Sixteenth century and carved marble figures from the thirteenth century.

After exploring the Castle, proceed to the Portofino lighthouse for an aperitif for SeaDream guests in a venue with spectacular view. Then follow your guide to the Church of St. George, where the bones of the dragon-slaying saint are buried. Visit the church, admire the view and take some pictures of the gulf before proceeding to the exclusive Piazzetta, where your guide, after a brief introduction will depart. See the initial stages of new masterpieces in Carrara Marble on this adventure by 4X4 to Fantiscritti Quarry.

Travel from the coast by coach on a scenic 90-minute drive admiring the picturesque villages enroute to the rich Apuane Mountains. Upon arrival at the quarry, you will hop into a 4x4 and climb deeper into the quarry area where you will learn about the marble extraction and treatment processes. Carrara marble is one of the most valuable marbles in the world. These quarries have been in use since Roman times and have provided marble for Roman houses and been exported around the world from the ancient Roman harbor of Luni. Famous artists have personally come here to select their marble for their future masterpieces, including Nicola and Giovanni Pisano, as well as Michelangelo Buonarotti.

While visiting this historic quarry; see how the ¨Carrarini¨ (marble workers) operate and how they live their daily lives. After discovering the quarry by 4x4, you will stop for a lunch of local specialties including a regional favorite the Lardo di Colonnata crouton. Be sure to admire the scenic Tuscan and Ligurian countryside during the return trip to Portovenere.

Explore three of the Cinque Terre villages: Monterosso, Manarola, and Rio Maggiore on this full day Yachting Land Adventure including lunch and Wine Tasting at the charming Buranco Ligurian Winery.

Cinque Terre is a National Park and territory protected by UNESCO, with beautiful terraces and stunning vineyards. Start out this Yachting Land Adventure with a scenic drive by minibus to the furthest village of Monterosso. Upon arrival you will receive a guided tour of this famous village, followed by free time to explore independently.

Afterward, you will travel to the stunning hillside Buranco Winery for a traditional Ligurian wine tasting. Take in the magnificent views of the coast as you relax sipping the fine wine. Reboard the minibus for the final destination, the picturesque fishing village of Rio Maggiore. Dating from the early thirteenth century, this is the southernmost village of the Cinque Terre. Description

Explore Lucca and its walls riding an e-bike. Touring has never been so easy!

Today's Yachting Land Adventure begins with a scenic 45 minute drive, through the Tuscany countryside to an enchanting destination largely bypassed by time and tourists - Lucca. Geraniums bloom from the roofs of medieval tower houses, latticed Gothic windows abound, and Lucca offers her visitors the best preserved Renaissance defense ramparts in Europe. These stone walls surround the village and are up to 40 feet high and more than 2 miles long by about 60 feet wide.

Begin with a walking orientation tour taking in some of the highlights along the cobbled Via Fililungo, little Lucca's version of Rome's Via Veneto. Your guide points out the Romanesque facades and facilitates a stop in San Frediano Church.

At Santa Maria Square, bicycles are lined up, awaiting your arrival. Up you go to ride along the ancient city walls, enjoying the panoramic view below and stopping along the way to visit St Martino Cathedral, Giglio Square, Napoleone Square and the house that was the birthplace of Puccini.

Experience the iconic centre of Florence, Renaissance capital, with this full day tour that includes the Accademia gallery reserved inside visit.

This Yachting Land Adventure is a “must do” for anyone visiting Tuscany that hasn’t had the opportunity to explore the incredible city of Florence! This UNESCO awarded city is a feast for both the senses and the intellect and few cities are imbued with such a magnificent sense of harmony, grace, dignity and serenity. When you disembark the yacht, motor coaches will be waiting to transport you through the beautiful Tuscan countryside to Florence, the nerve center of the Renaissance.

Your first visit will be to the Academy Gallery to view its collection of works by Michelangelo. Of particular interest is the monumental figure of David, a symbol of youthful force and a perfect example of the sculptor's humanism.

Proceed on to the city's cathedral, the Duomo, surmounted by Brunelleschi's gigantic dome. Construction began in 1420, and it is said that up to 10,000 Florentines could be accommodated for the sermons of Savonarola.

Following your visit to the Duomo, enjoy a light pasta and salad lunch at a typical Florentine restaurant. Your final stop will be in Holy Cross Square, where you'll receive a brief introduction to the Santa Croce Church. The splendid interior of this church is a jigsaw puzzle of marble tombs and contains chapels frescoed by Giotto, and Brunelleschi's Pazzi Chapel. Board your vehicle for a short drive to Napoleon’s summer residence, Villa San Martino, located just outside Portoferraio. This elegant villa served as the Emperor’s retreat when he wished to escape city life during his exile on Elba. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided interior visit of the residence, with explanations highlighting the villa’s purpose, history, and connection to Napoleon.

Reboard your vehicle and return to Portoferraio, where the excursion continues on foot. Follow your guide for a leisurely stroll along the Medicean Darsena, lined with yachts and traditional shops, before entering the historic center through the Sea Gate of the Medicean Fortresses. Built in 1548 under Cosimo de’ Medici, these fortifications once protected and fortified the town.

Along the route, admire the 15th-century Palazzo Comunale, where Napoleon briefly stayed in 1814, before leaving the main square and continuing for an exterior visit of Villa dei Mulini, Napoleon’s former town residence, named after the windmills that once stood here. From Portoferraio, enjoy a delightful drive to the southern mountainside village of Capoliveri. Enchanting and full of charm, Capoliveri preserves an almost medieval atmosphere in its architecture, both sober and elegant. Located in the heart of Elba’s mining area, between the iron mines of Mount Calamita and Mount Ginevro, the village offers superb panoramic views over the gulfs of Lacona and Campo. Below, a wild headland covered with bush, agaves and prickly pears meets some of the island’s most beautiful coastline, with dramatic cliffs visited by sea gulls and small bays with crystal-clear waters.

Stroll through the twisting old streets, then enjoy leisure time to browse the small shops and boutiques. Your next stop is the 17th-century country wine farm “La Chiusa,” beautifully set among vineyards and olive trees with views over the sea. As with many historic estates on Elba, it is said to have once hosted Napoleon during his exile.

During your visit, explore the estate’s cellar to see how the wine is produced, followed by a tasting of the vineyard’s passiti wines made from Aleatico and Ansonica grapes—classic varieties of the island. Meet your bike guide in Porto Ercole for a brief safety orientation and introduction to the pedal-assist bicycles before setting off along a panoramic coastal road. The route continues beside the tranquil waters of the Orbetello Lagoon and into the Feniglia Natural Reserve, following a sandy path shaded by fragrant pinewoods that connect the hill of Ansedonia to Monte Argentario. The pedal-assist bikes provide steady support along the route, making the ride comfortable as you cycle through this protected coastal landscape.

Pause at La Feniglia Beach for a photo opportunity and a refreshing soft drink before continuing your ride along the lagoon’s edge and through the town of Orbetello. From here, follow the scenic coastal road back to Porto Ercole, where you will return to the pier and rejoin your yacht.

These beauties of the Maremma area are located in the southern part of the Tuscany Region. Explore the charming Medieval Town of Capalbio. The origin of this town goes back to the bronze age, under the rule of the Aldobrandeschi Family before it came under the rule of the Republic of Siena. Capalbio fell under the attack of the Spanish troops and experienced many years of decline and crisis before it become part of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. Free time will be provided for photo opportunities and independent explorations before you will board the motor-coach to reach the nearby local winery. Upon arrival you will visit the winery before you’ll have the opportunity to taste their own wine production. At the end of the tasting the motor-coach will take you back to the yacht.

Your journey begins with a scenic motorcoach drive through the Tuscan countryside to Pitigliano, a striking hilltop town dramatically carved from volcanic tufa rock. Rising above deep ravines, the town’s honey-colored façades appear to emerge directly from the cliff itself. Known for its Etruscan origins and later governed by the Aldobrandeschi family, Pitigliano developed into an important medieval center and retains the architectural character of its early history.

Upon arrival, you will spend approximately one hour exploring the historic center at your leisure. Stroll through narrow stone lanes, admire buildings sculpted into the rock, and observe the distinctive artificial cuts carved into the tufa cliffs—channels whose original purpose remains unknown, some resembling passageways and others steps. This independent time allows you to photograph panoramic views and experience the atmosphere of this remarkable hill town at your own pace.

Pitigliano is also known as “Little Jerusalem,” reflecting the Jewish community that settled here between 1555 and 1569 after leaving the Papal territories to the south. In 1598, a synagogue was constructed, and a Jewish quarter gradually developed around it, shaping the town’s cultural identity. Following your visit, you will rejoin your motorcoach for the return drive to the yacht.
