Transfer by lorry to the small, remote Fishing Community, Cocodrilo accompanied by a local guide. You will notice the varied fauna of this well preserved ecosystem and continuing on to the township of Cocodrilo. The village was constructed in 1897, it’s very small and far away from everything but they have a small, perfectly working society and you will get the opportunity to visit and learn more about it. This village dates back to when British nationals came from Grand Cayman and founded the town of Cocodrilo. This remote location has a school, medical care, social center, local radio station and other facilities. Your informative guide will tell you all about Cocodrilo, Isla de la Juventud and will also take you to the local school which will most likely be the smallest one you have ever seen.
