Bridgetown to Bridgetown

SeaDream uses the port of Bridgetown as the hub for their Southern Caribbean voyages as well as some voyages that cross the Atlantic. The Island itself includes UNESCO Heritage Sites, excellent beaches and history dating back to 1628. The climate is tropical with constant warm temperatures during the year cooled by light trade winds.

Soufriere, a small town on the South West Coast of Saint Lucia is considered by many as the island’s gem. The town and the surrounding region has a population of 8,000. Originally founded by the French, it was the original capital of the island. Soufriere has a great deal to offer visitors including coral reefs, the rainforest, Diamond Falls, the sulfur springs, a “drive-in” volcano and the ever popular and majestic twin pitons. Check the Land Adventure options as we feel certain you will enjoy them. You may also sit back in one of the Balinese dream beds and witness a beautiful sunset.

Rodney Bay is a bay on the North West coast of Saint Lucia; it is along the northwestern coast of the island to the north of Choc Bay. It is named after British naval officer George Brydges Rodney. We will anchor and offer tender service to one of the local bars or direct to the marina. Guests can enjoy the Yachting Land Adventures, water sports, the local beaches or a hike to Pigeon Island.

Bequia is the northernmost and largest of the Grenadines, just seven square miles of quiet lagoons, reefs, and long silvery stretches of beach. Among the first things you will notice are the colorful model boats set up on stands around the tiny harbor, representing the island's maritime history. Imagine an intimate cluster of five uninhabited islands, heavenly lagoons full of green turtles, coral reefs, colorful fish and crystal clear waters. The horseshoe-shaped Man-o-War Bay is the crown jewel of Tobago. Located on the northeastern side of Tobago, European settlers first arrived at Man-O-War Bay in the 1600s. Prior to becoming the perfect getaway for visitors, Man-O-War Bay was known for its long history of sugar farming and fishing. Featuring only a few hotels and restaurants, Man-O-War Bay offers a peaceful escape and beautiful scenery, away from mainstream tourist destinations. Create new memories in this Caribbean destination that is steeped in history, offering the perfect backdrop to enjoy a laid-back ambiance. Admire the area’s diverse marine life at Angel Reef or while swimming or snorkeling in the bay’s blue waters along its palm-studded yellow-sand beaches.

This stop happens to be the capital of Grenada and offers our guests active activities such as hiking and tubing. This destination is becoming more popular due to the moderate tropical climate that ensures the success of spice production. Nutmegs are the most plentiful crop, followed by an array of such spices as cocoa, mace, cloves, vanilla, cinnamon and ginger. SeaDream guests can also enjoy playing from the water sports marina as we are scheduled to anchor in this port of call.

Accessible only by yacht and small sailboats, Mayreau is the smallest public island of the Grenadines, with an area of about .46 square miles and a population of less than 300, centered in an unnamed village on a hilltop in the southwest of the island—its highest point and a nice hike from Saline Beach, where SeaDream anchors. Surrounded by magnificent coral reefs and gorgeous beaches, Mayreau and its surrounding Tobago Cays waters sit in a nationally protected area that has experienced a resurgence of marine life, including turtles that swim and feed while you mingle with and observe them. Take in the flora and fauna and don’t miss some of the best snorkeling in the world. Perhaps the ideal spot to anchor, Saline Bay provides easy access to Saline Bay Beach and Salt Whistle Bay Beach, a rare double-sided beach.
