The combination of urban centers and cultural treasures make Palm Beach the perfect getaway. Enter the heart of Africa by visiting the Panther Ridge Conservation Center or get up close and personal with manatees at the Manatee Lagoon. If you’re more into urban sightseeing, visit CityPlace for the top-rated dining, entertainment, and shopping experiences.
Great Exuma Island is known for its brilliant, sparkling waters—waters so clear and aquamarine-blue they are visible from space. The island is home to powdery white-sand beaches, deserted cays, luxury villas, and exclusive resorts. Paddleboard, snorkel, or swim, and see more of the island from the sandy shores of Emerald Bay. Great Exuma is also a golfer’s paradise, boasting picture-perfect links that challenge both the novice and professional.
Colorful coral reefs and serene beaches make Long Island a haven for snorkeling, diving, and bone fishing. Relax under the shade of pine trees at Gordon’s Beach, the southernmost white-sand beach on the island. Explore Long Island from the perspective two of its most impressive natural wonders, the Hamilton Caves, dripping with stalactites, and Dean’s Blue Hole, the world’s second-deepest saltwater blue hole, surrounded by limestone bluffs. The island is also home to St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, a now-abandoned stone church constructed by the Spanish in the 1600s and reputed to be the oldest in the Bahamas.
One of the smallest inhabited islands in the Bahamas, San Salvador boasts sparkling inland lakes, reef-filled sea waters, miles of secluded white-sand beaches, and dive sites teeming with sea life. A stone cross on the shores of Long Bay mark Columbus’s landfall on the island; offshore, an underwater monument designates where La Pinta dropped anchor. Pace yourself to the rhythm of the island with a leisurely swim or bike ride around the bay.
Nestled in the southeast Turks and Caicos sits the 2-mile-long island of Salt Cay. With its stretch of white sands fringed by coconut palm trees and a lush rain forest, Blue Lagoon Island—or Salt Cay—offers an idyllic escape. With very few permanent residents and no paved roads, Salt Cay is the quintessential island that has been lost to time. Donkeys, the ancestors of which used to pull carts during the nineteenth century when the island was a main sea-salt producer, now roam freely all over the island. Bygones of the salt salinas, windmills, and old colonial architecture remains around Balfour Town and Dean’s Dock, including Harriott White House. With its rich history packed into a such a small space, the island has been nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Gordon's Beach, Long Island - Hamilton Caves, Dean’s Blue Hole, and Beach Break
Description
Explore Long Island and experience two of its most impressive natural wonders – one dripping with stalactites, the other plunging 663 feet down into the world’s second-deepest saltwater blue hole!
Step aboard your air-conditioned bus at Gordon's Beach for an island exploration seeing its highlights: Gun Hill, the highest point in Clarence Town and the historic St. Peter and Paul church with stunning views of the harbor.
Next, travel along the scenic Queen’s Highway, to Hamilton’s Cave. Your expert guide leads you to survey the labyrinthine of darkness in the Bahamas’ largest cave system. Multiple chambers open to reveal impressive stalactites and stalagmites formed over centuries as well as many bats who (fortunately) mostly slumber during the daytime in the crevices of the caves.
Afterwards, return to the light of day for a short drive to the world-famous Dean’s Blue Hole. Surrounded by limestone bluffs and a splendid white-sand beach, this setting is idyllic for relaxing along the unspoiled Caribbean shore. But the real attraction here is to wade, or swim out, through the shallows to where the sandy seafloor suddenly disappears – suddenly dropping 663 feet into the world’s second-deepest saltwater blue hole. Or, dare to be brave and adventurous by climbing up the rocky pathway and plunge into the blue depths below. All too soon it is time to rejoin your bus for the return 45 minute drive to the yacht waiting at Gordon's Beach.Notes
This Yachting Land Adventure includes walking for approximately 1 hour over uneven ground with limited light at the cave and driving over somewhat rough road to reach Dean’s Blue Hole beach. Please wear flat, comfortable shoes suitable for the cave excursion, and dress in swimwear with cover-up for the beach visit. Be sure to bring along a hat, sunscreen, and your towel from the yacht. There are portable restrooms at Dean’s. Its recommended to bring US dollars to purchase any food or drink from the small local vendors. A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity. All adventures in the SeaDream Yachting Land Adventures program are subject to change. San Salvador - San Salvador Bone Fishing
Description
Bonefish fly fishing is a sport unlike anything else on earth. What’s more, is there is simply nowhere better than in the Bahamas to experience it on this Yachting Land Adventure.
Bonefishing in the Bahamas is a whole lot more like hunting than it is fishing. This is due to the temperament of the bonefish. With the constant danger of sharks or barracuda making a meal of bonefish, they are always on high alert. To top this off, they are also lightning fast and very difficult to see. Any sign of a threat will send them darting off with a flick of their tail, never to be seen again.
This may sound like the odds are stacked against you, the fisherman. This is actually the case, but that’s what makes bonefishing in the Bahamas such a thrilling experience. Roaming the sandy flats or creeks of the islands for a while until you, or more likely your guide, spots a bonefish is step one. This may take a little while, because of how well these fish blend into their background. In fact, you may think your guide is gesturing at absolutely nothing when a fish is pointed out. This is the easy part though, next you will need to either balance on the small casting deck of the boat that you’re on, or get your equipment ready while you’re knee deep in water. Any movement that is too fast or obvious will send your prey scattering in all directions.
Though big game fishing simply requires deep water, the conditions for bonefishing in the Bahamas are a little more specific. Fortunately, the sandy flats of San Salvador and Pigeon Creek are perfect. If you’re new to Bonefishing, be sure to get booked on this Yachting Land Adventure as space is extremely limited. Your guide has a sharp eye and is always nearby to help you spot your prey.Notes
Prices are per person with 2 persons in one boat maximum and a gratuity not included. SeaDream does not allow bringing your catch onboard the yacht. Some fish are protected and can be caught and released while others may be donated, through the captain. Catching fish is not guaranteed although very likely. A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity.
