San Juan, founded in the 1520’s by Spanish settlers, is both the largest city and the capital city of Puerto Rico. A territory of the Unites States, Puerto Rico is comprised of the large main island as well as five smaller islands, including the popular islands of Vieques and Culebra (both ports of call on select SeaDream voyages).
SeaDream docks in Old San Juan, the oldest part of the city. Parts of this historic port city are still surrounded by stone walls dating back to the 1500’s. Narrow cobblestone streets, small shops, and points of interest like Cathedral of San Juan Bautista make this charming city a great place to stroll. Guests sailing into or departing from San Juan will enjoy views of Castillo de San Felipe del Morro, a mid- 1700’s Spanish fortress.

It is blessed with many beautiful beaches and bays, fine anchorages and verdant hills. Enjoy the day with snorkeling trip to Trunk Bay with its underwater guided trail, or join our kayaking land adventure. Ask your Club Director for a guided hike to Caneel Bay stopping at beautiful Honeymoon Beach for a quiet swim. Rental Cars are available should you want to explore on your own or you could borrow a SeaDream Mountain Bike for independent exploration.

Nevis is one of our favorite islands, and we encourage you to explore Nevis beyond the small town to make the most of your visit! We offer several excellent and varied options for you to do so and still leave you with plenty of time on your own for the beach. Less commercial and laidback than its large neighbor St. Kitts, Nevis, at first glimpse, offers a stunning approach with dramatic views of the potentially active volcanic Nevis Peak (3,232 feet/985 meters). Your SeaDream tender will bring you within a few steps of the small town center. Charlestown does not offer too many sightseeing or shopping opportunities though the house where American statesman Alexander Hamilton was born is only a short walk away along the waterfront (now the Museum of Nevis History). To enjoy Nevis to its full potential, we recommend that you divide your day into Morning, Lunch/Afternoon and Evening activities.
Morning - Start your day by exploring the island, above or under water, on one of our fun optional Land Adventures. They are all enjoyable & exciting, and you will also support the local community. The Four Seasons Resort still offers incredible golf options as well as beautiful beach and dining facilities. Another option for lunch is the L'Escale French Caribbean-style bistro, just down the road near the Oualie Pier.
Evening - For a romantic sunset with cocktails and a snack or dinner, we like to take the short drive to see Gillian, the owner of the charming Bananas Restaurant, which offers lovely views surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Of course, there is also Sunshine's Beach Bar & Grill, home of the famous "Killer Bee" Caribbean rum drink. We hope that the above recommendations allow you to plan your special day on Nevis. Now, all you have to do is to decide which of the optional morning activities to join.
South Friar's Bay offers SeaDream guests a new way to explore the island of St. Kitts. Rather than docking at the capital, the yacht will be anchored in the bay. This particular bay is one of the two bays stretching along the coast of the isthmus connecting the Southeast Peninsula, with the rest of the island of Saint Kitts. From swimming and snorkeling on the south side to body surfing on the north, Friar's Bay offers guests several options. Many locals consider the southern beach the best on the island. If you are thirsty, no worries as there are multiple beach bars, offering various food and beverage options. The island itself offers several land adventure options including the Unesco Awarded Brimstone Fortress, Zip Lines, off road adventures and golf at the Royal St. Kitts.
This British Overseas Territory is becoming more popular due to the incredible resort options as well as world recognized beaches and amazing golf. SeaDream offers an opportunity to tee off, snorkel, or, for the energetic, bike around the island with the Club Director. The BVI’s barefoot island and home of the "Painkiller" drink. Population depends on the month – typically 250-300. This is another SeaDream destination where you may be served Champagne & Caviar Splash® followed by a beach barbecue lunch. A hike is always offered to guests to visit the famous Foxy’s Bar at Great Harbour (hopefully, the boutique is open) or you can stroll a few meters down the beach to the Soggy Dollar Bar. Snorkeling equipment is provided as well as some of our water toys!
Norman Island is located at the southern tip of the British Virgin Islands. It could very well be the very same island reputed to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's pirate novel Treasure Island. It is said that the island was named after a pirate who purchased it at some point during the early 18th century. The island is uninhabited and privately owned by Dr Henry Jarecki. Its area is about 600 acres (2.4 km²), and it is about 2.5 miles (4 km) long. A large harbor is known as "The Bight" offers one of the most protected anchorages in the area. Guests will enjoy some great hiking opportunities as well as snorkeling and scuba diving. Another attractive option may be to check out the Willie T that is generally anchored in the harbor or simply have a beverage at the Pirates Bight Bar.

Discover Shoal Bay Beach, one of the top beaches in the world, on this Yachting Land Adventure that includes your transfers with a reserved beach lounge chair and shared umbrella. Upon arrival a cool cocktail welcomes you at this stunning place.
This beach can compete with any beach in the world and also has a great reef for snorkeling. Shoal Bay is the most popular beach in Anguilla and attracts locals, tourists, and day trippers from the neighboring island of St. Martin for a good reason.
You will be transferred to Shoal Bay Beach and greeted with a cocktail upon your arrival. Here you will have a reserved beach lounge chair and shared umbrella waiting for you. Your time here is on your own schedule. You can relax and enjoy the view of the two-mile sandy beach, swim, snorkel or take a stroll in the fine sand from one end to the other. Restaurants, beach bars and hotels line Shoal Bay's shores. Additional water sports equipment can be rented directly if you wish. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the moments you spent on one of the best beaches in the world.

You will be dropped off and picked up at an assigned, central location. Your beach lounge chair and umbrella are reserved so there is no worry about finding one. There are also several restaurants and bars along the beach where you can enjoy a local snack and drinks. If you plan to snorkel, be sure to bring your equipment from the yacht.

Board a private speed boat and set off to your first snorkel spot at Little Bay, the tiniest beach on Anguilla and one of the most beautiful locations to snorkel. It is also one of the most private beaches on Anguilla, since the only way to get there is by foot or by water. Since it is protected by high cliffs on three sides there is hardly any surf, making it a perfect snorkel stop. Snorkeling in these crystal-clear warm waters will be a rewarding experience with plenty of colorful fish, squids and shells. In general, Anguilla is well known for its snorkeling and has an abundance of fish; you can find the feisty little black-barred Sergeant Major and plenty of colorful Wrasses, Snappers and Grunts. Then on to the second snorkel stop, which is at Shoal Bay, where you will find a reef abundant with coral and sea fans, along with Parrot Fish, Blue Tang and even Trunk Fish, the ones that look like little triangular boxes. After this, the third stop will be Sandy Island also well known for its excellent snorkeling. After this last snorkel experience, you will board the speed boat to return to the pier in Road Bay while enjoying a well-deserved rum punch.

Guests must be able to swim and feel comfortable with snorkeling equipment. In addition, the boat captain will use his discretion when selecting the stops and snorkeling locations based upon the current weather and sea conditions for the best guest experience.

Board a motor snorkel boat and cruise throughout the Jost van Dyke collection of islands. The boat will anchor off Sandy Spit, where you can snorkel and swim over a fascinating reef. Then it is "anchors aweigh," and set sail for Diamond Cay - a tiny islet completely surrounded by powdery white sand, azure blue waters and an underwater world filled with colorful marine life. Swim, snorkel or sun directly off the boat before returning to your yacht’s anchorage location.

Wear your swimsuit under your clothes; bring a towel, a dry T-shirt or sweatshirt, sunscreen and a hat. Alternative snorkel locations may be selected according to sea and weather conditions. This activity may be operated on a sailing catamaran. Masks, snorkels and snorkel vests are provided as well as instruction for novice. Approximately 1.5 hours snorkel time. This delightful adventure begins when you board a twin-engine snorkel launch to two of the BVIs’ prime snorkeling sites. You will snorkel at the famed Caves at Norman Island with a reputed history of piracy and immortalized in Robert Louis Stevenson's famous book: "Treasure Island." Afterwards you will continue on to “The Indians” – a small archipelago of uninhabited islets for a second snorkeling opportunity which is in shallower waters before returning back to your SeaDream Yacht. An experienced snorkel instructor will accompany you to both of these sites and provide you with added information on what you should not miss seeing.
