Philipsburg was founded in 1763 by John Philips, a Scottish captain in the Dutch navy. The settlement soon became a center for international trade. The main shopping district is located on Front Street and is in the heart of the city. Many consider Philipsburg to be the best shopping opportunity in the Caribbean. Depending on the traffic, SeaDream has the option to anchor or dock alongside. One of the highlight activities may be to participate in the America’s Cup 12 Metre Regatta.
Nevis is one of our favorite islands, and we encourage you to explore Nevis beyond the small town to make the most of your visit! We offer several excellent and varied options for you to do so and still leave you with plenty of time on your own for the beach. Less commercial and laidback than its large neighbor St. Kitts, Nevis, at first glimpse, offers a stunning approach with dramatic views of the potentially active volcanic Nevis Peak (3,232 feet/985 meters). Your SeaDream tender will bring you within a few steps of the small town center. Charlestown does not offer too many sightseeing or shopping opportunities though the house where American statesman Alexander Hamilton was born is only a short walk away along the waterfront (now the Museum of Nevis History). To enjoy Nevis to its full potential, we recommend that you divide your day into Morning, Lunch/Afternoon and Evening activities.
Morning - Start your day by exploring the island, above or under water, on one of our fun optional Land Adventures. They are all enjoyable & exciting, and you will also support the local community. The Four Seasons Resort still offers incredible golf options as well as beautiful beach and dining facilities. Another option for lunch is the L'Escale French Caribbean-style bistro, just down the road near the Oualie Pier.
Evening - For a romantic sunset with cocktails and a snack or dinner, we like to take the short drive to see Gillian, the owner of the charming Bananas Restaurant, which offers lovely views surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Of course, there is also Sunshine's Beach Bar & Grill, home of the famous "Killer Bee" Caribbean rum drink. We hope that the above recommendations allow you to plan your special day on Nevis. Now, all you have to do is to decide which of the optional morning activities to join.
Falmouth Bay is a short walk from Nelson's Dockyard and the English Harbour. Historic buildings and mills surround it. This harbor and the quiet village has plenty of shops, restaurants and the yacht club. Historic sites, tasty cuisine and a lively cultural scene can all be found on Antigua. But most often it's the beauty and versatility of the island's 365 beaches that draw travelers from afar. Land Adventure possibilities include a helicopter ride over Montserrat, a jeep and snorkel safari and a St. John’s City and shopping exploration.

Nearly every publication written about Virgin Gorda will emphasize the need to visit “The Baths” – don’t miss it! SeaDream generally arrives early and anchors off Spanish Town to give guests an early start to view The Baths before all of the tourists arrive from the neighboring Islands. SeaDream navigates scenically up the coast and arrives in North Sound to anchor just off the Bitter End Yacht Club. Here we offer watersports, land adventures, hiking options with the crew and tenders to the Bitter End! Enjoy the welcoming Caribbean breeze and the famous Baths located nearby. Other attractions include the Coppermine Ruins and Gorda Peak National Park. Of course, snorkeling is popular as are the sandy white beaches.
The BVI’s barefoot island and home of the "Painkiller" drink. Population depends on the month – typically 250-300. This is another SeaDream destination where you may be served Champagne & Caviar Splash® followed by a beach barbecue lunch. A hike is always offered to guests to visit the famous Foxy’s Bar at Great Harbour (hopefully, the boutique is open) or you can stroll a few meters down the beach to the Soggy Dollar Bar. Snorkeling equipment is provided as well as some of our water toys!

This 18-hole Robert Trent Jones II signature golf course is woven into the landscape of the island, winding over 6,766 yards (6,187 metres) from the slopes of Nevis Peak down to the edge of the Caribbean Sea. You will be met at the tender landing site by your tour guide and driven to the helicopter pad at Fort James in St John’s. After your orientation and safety briefing, here you will board your awaiting private helicopter for a fully narrated and truly memorable and unique Montserrat Volcano tour.
On this 45-minute, pilot-narrated flight, you will fly to Montserrat to tour its "Exclusion Zone," an area covering 80 sq. kms made off-limits to both ground transportation and habitation. This makes the helicopter the only way to get an up-close look at the Soufriere Hills Volcano.
The volcano rises to 3,000 feet above sea level and frequently emits a combination of ash, smoke, and steam. Survey the massive Tar River Gorge and Delta found 1,000 feet below, which has formed as a result of pyroclastic flows.
You will witness what is left of small villages devastated by past eruptions before touring the charred remains of Plymouth, the country’s former capital, now uninhabited and in some places buried under 40 feet of ash.
On the seaside, observe the former location of the W.H. Bramble Airport - abandoned after the 1997 eruptions. Portions of this airport, including the runway were still visible until the partial dome collapse on 11 February 2010, which buried what was left.
This SeaDream Yachting Land Adventure (YLA) is operated using Airbus EC130 helicopters, and the spacious cabins can comfortably accommodate the pilot and up to 6 passengers. This beach can compete with any beach in the world and also has a great reef for snorkeling. Shoal Bay is the most popular beach in Anguilla and attracts locals, tourists, and day trippers from the neighboring island of St. Martin for a good reason.
You will be transferred to Shoal Bay Beach and greeted with a cocktail upon your arrival. Here you will have a reserved beach lounge chair and shared umbrella waiting for you. Your time here is on your own schedule. You can relax and enjoy the view of the two-mile sandy beach, swim, snorkel or take a stroll in the fine sand from one end to the other. Restaurants, beach bars and hotels line Shoal Bay's shores. Additional water sports equipment can be rented directly if you wish. Board a private speed boat and set off to your first snorkel spot at Little Bay, the tiniest beach on Anguilla and one of the most beautiful locations to snorkel. It is also one of the most private beaches on Anguilla, since the only way to get there is by foot or by water. Since it is protected by high cliffs on three sides there is hardly any surf, making it a perfect snorkel stop. Snorkeling in these crystal-clear warm waters will be a rewarding experience with plenty of colorful fish, squids and shells. In general, Anguilla is well known for its snorkeling and has an abundance of fish; you can find the feisty little black-barred Sergeant Major and plenty of colorful Wrasses, Snappers and Grunts. Then on to the second snorkel stop, which is at Shoal Bay, where you will find a reef abundant with coral and sea fans, along with Parrot Fish, Blue Tang and even Trunk Fish, the ones that look like little triangular boxes. After this, the third stop will be Sandy Island also well known for its excellent snorkeling. After this last snorkel experience, you will board the speed boat to return to the pier in Road Bay while enjoying a well-deserved rum punch.

Board a beautiful catamaran and set sail for a lovely, leisurely cruise in the direction of “Pointe de Colombier” and its sheltered bay. En route, you will enjoy a scenic panorama, while passing the mega yachts at anchor. Once at anchor in Colombier Bay, you will be able to enjoy sunbathing and swimming in the warm waters of the bay or just relaxing on the trampoline net. The helpful crew will be there to assist you at all times and offer you your choice of mineral water, soft drinks, beer, the famous Miguel’s rum punch to keep you refreshed. Upon return to Gustavia, you may choose to stay in town and explore on your own, or return directly to your SeaDream yacht.

This is the "Must-see & Do" Yachting Land Adventure on Virgin Gorda, if not in the entire British Virgin Islands. Open-air safari wagons will take you and your fellow SeaDreamers on a short twenty-minute ride through the village of Spanish Town to discover The Baths, an intriguing group of sea caves and unusual rock formations, spectacularly set on an amazing beach. From the parking area follow the winding footpath down to the beach to explore this geological wonder. Wade knee deep through the sea caves formed by mammoth boulders and bask in the shafts of sunlight pouring through the natural ceiling into the pools below. Learn about the boulders' origins and the many curious names given to the rock formations. Swim, relax and enjoy the ambiance of this piece of paradise. Then, retrace your footprints in the sand and ascend the path to the Top of the Baths where you will enjoy a fresh fruit smoothie. There is also time to relax and take a dip in the pool before departing via the safari wagons for a scenic island drive over Gorda Peak. Admire the stunning views to the north side, where a tender awaits to transfer you back to your SeaDream yacht.

Please bring swimwear, towel and sunscreen. The portion of the adventure involving actual exploration of the cave area can be considered strenuous to some so set your own pace; do as much or as little as you wish. Guests who prefer to enjoy the beach during this portion of the adventure are welcome to do so. Wear comfortable walking shoes as the footpath to The Baths is uneven and water shoes (not flip flops) in the water. While walking the path through The Baths, your feet will get wet. Board a motor snorkel boat and cruise throughout the Jost van Dyke collection of islands. The boat will anchor off Sandy Spit, where you can snorkel and swim over a fascinating reef. Then it is "anchors aweigh," and set sail for Diamond Cay - a tiny islet completely surrounded by powdery white sand, azure blue waters and an underwater world filled with colorful marine life. Swim, snorkel or sun directly off the boat before returning to your yacht’s anchorage location.

Wear your swimsuit under your clothes; bring a towel, a dry T-shirt or sweatshirt, sunscreen and a hat. Alternative snorkel locations may be selected according to sea and weather conditions. This activity may be operated on a sailing catamaran. Masks, snorkels and snorkel vests are provided as well as instruction for novice. Approximately 1.5 hours snorkel time.
