See southern Corsica by sea on a 2-seater jet ski. Discover the mythical cliffs of Bonifacio recognized for their beauty and their history on this exciting Yachting Land Adventure.

Departing from Bonifacio by van, you will arrive at Sant’ Amanza beach to begin this excursion. There is a short briefing with the instructor before heading out with your guide. Experience the ride on the jet ski alone, or doubled up (you pay per jet ski used) and take in the stunning beauty surrounding you on a palette of turquoise blue sea. During this 90-minute ride you will cruise to Cavallo Island. This is internationally famous private island has a nature sanctuary and is located between Corsica and Sardinia, in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. If the weather permits, you will also visit the archipelago of the Lavezzi Islands. Enjoy cruising through the Marine Park and discovering the local islands on your jet ski. There is an hour at the end to enjoy the beach and drive back to Bonifacio to your yacht.

Description

Discover Bonifacio's treasures on this fun adventure that is a favorite among many SeaDream guests. It includes a private guided tour through its historic streets and landmarks, including a scenic boat ride to see the breathtaking grottos at the base of the white cliffs.

Board the awaiting boat for a captivating exploration of Bonifacio's coastline, where you'll glide past the base of the white cliffs and pass in front of the enchanting Grotte Sdragonatu, the largest of the three caves, adorned with stunning hues of amethyst, indigo, and gold, along with intricate stalactites and arches. Weather permitting, you'll also discover the St. Antoine and St. Barthelemy Caves, and witness the majestic staircase of the King of Aragon carved into the limestone cliffs, all while enjoying vistas of the neighboring Italian island of Sardinia.

Your experience begins in Porto Cervo, where you will meet your guide and enjoy a short walk of approximately 700 meters to the bus parking area before setting off along the celebrated Costa Smeralda. Developed in 1961, this exclusive stretch of coastline spans more than 80 square kilometers of pristine shoreline and hinterland, renowned for its preserved natural beauty and refined character. As you travel through unspoiled countryside, the dramatic granite landscapes and Mediterranean vegetation define the setting.

Your first stop is the village of San Pantaleo, built around its old square and country church dating to the late 19th century. Here, you will stroll through the historic center and have time to browse artisan boutiques and local craft shops offering handmade jewelry, ceramics, textiles, and distinctive Sardinian creations. The village retains an intimate and authentic atmosphere, offering a charming contrast to the glamour of the Emerald Coast.

Description

Hop onboard your private rib boat departing from Porto Cervo for an up-close exploration of the La Maddalena Archipelago. This destination is a National Marine Park and Protected Marine area famous the world over for the crystal-clear waters, uniquely shaped granite rocks, white sandy beaches and its pristine natural environment.

Departing directly from the Pier, you board the rib boat and arrive on La Maddalena Island for a short walking tour of the historic center and coffee break. After the island orientation, you will reboard the rib boat and travel to Spargi Island, third largest in the archipelago. This uninhabited island is a fantastic spot to stop for a swim, admiring the beauty of the unique ]granite boulders and idyllic beaches.

Then sail towards Caprera Island for a second possibility to stop and plunge into the crystal azure waters of a hidden bay or stunning sandy beach. Reflect on the beautiful La Maddalena Archipelago as you cruise back to the pier and the SeaDream yacht in the harbor.

Take this unique opportunity to visit a local farm in the beautiful countryside near Sorrento and sample some delicious Italian treats.

Travel from Sorrento into the hills above the port to arrive at a farm where you are greeted by the owner. He will accompany you on a tour of the farm and explain the processes that go into the production of his mozzarella cheese. As you explore the farm, be sure to admire the beautiful garden of lemon and olive trees. This beautiful spot is where your host will offer samples of bread, cheese, and salami. Soak up the relaxing ambiance of this natural environment away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and big cities.

After the farm visit, reboard the coach and proceed to the picturesque and popular resort town of Sorrento. The guide will reveal to you the streets of the historical centre before leaving you with some free time. Stroll along the Corso Italia or visit the Cathedral. You may, of course, prefer to relax in an open-air café and absorb the local atmosphere. Shoppers will delight in the array of souvenirs including beautiful, highly polished wood inlaid with marquetry. This guided walking tour covers the highlights of Sorrento. Visit the Valley of the Mills, where a thick canopy of centuries old greenery has enveloped an enchanted kingdom of its own. Admire such landmarks as the Sant’Antonio Basilica and the peaceful San Francesco Cloister, where you have wonderful views of Sorrento Bay from the public gardens. Set out from the Positano pier on an intimate sea-kayaking journey that reveals the Amalfi Coast from its most evocative angle, water level. After meeting experienced kayaking guides and walking to the nearby launch point, guests receive a safety briefing before paddling along the coastline beneath sheer limestone cliffs and terraced villages. Description

Board 4x4 vans for a portion of the ascent to one of the greatest European Volcanos - Mt. Etna. Admire the unique volcanic scenery and at the base of the crater where a alpine guide will escort you to the 2,800 meter level for magnificent views of the volcanic craters of Etna!

Depart from the port for a dramatic drive via air-conditioned motor coach to the slopes of Europe's largest active volcano. The road winds its way through small villages, lemon groves, orchards, vineyards, chestnut and pinewoods. Gradually encounter the hardened lava fields scattered with volcanic cones. Enjoy the view from the Silvestri Craters located at an altitude of 6200 feet and surrounded by hardened lava flow. Appreciate this eerie, unique scenery and travel to the next level by cable car. Finally, board 4x4 vans for the drive to the base of the crater, to meet Alpine guides who lead the twenty-minute walk up as close as possible to the crater's edge. Then it's back down, winding through the fields and villages for a return to Taormina and the SeaDream yacht.

This tour involves a strenuous level of activity, with walking on loose volcanic shingle, some uphill sections, and exposure to high altitude (approximately 2,800-2,950 meters / about 1.74-1.83 miles). Guests must be in good physical condition and the tour is not recommended for those with walking difficulties, or with back, neck, heart, or respiratory conditions; it is not suitable for wheelchair users. Some steps are required to enter the cable-car station. Guests who prefer not to hike may wait at the upper cable-car station (2,500 meters / 1.55 miles) while the group continues higher. Closed-toe shoes and warm clothing, such as a jacket, windbreaker, or sweater, are required, as wind conditions at higher elevations can be strong and cold. Jackets, coats, hiking shoes, gloves, and socks are available for rent on site, subject to availability and size. The drive to and from Mount Etna is approximately 90 minutes each way. A restaurant is available at the crater base, where guests may purchase snacks independently; a box lunch may be provided depending on departure time.

Description

Enjoy the unique scenery of the greatest European volcano and enjoy a visit plus wine tasting at one of the best-known vineyards in the region.

The excursion begins with a brief drive through the town of Naxos, founded by Greek colonizers in 8th century BC. Ride along the flanks of Mt Etna and continue to the village of Viagrande, situated on a hill on the slopes of Mount Etna. Viagrande is famous for being mentioned in the first novel (“Nedda”) of the Sicilian writer Giovanni Verga.

This village is also known for its vineyards and especially for its gastronomic traditions. The tour continues to the Benanti Winery Monte Serra estate for a sample of several the winery's finest vintages, paired with tastings of local cheese, sun-dried and fresh tomatoes, green and black olives, salami and bruschetta. The winery visit also includes the vineyard and the historical oak barrel room.

From Benati Winery, ride back down to Naxos pier where the SeaDream yacht awaits.

This tour includes uneven ground in vineyard areas and a few steps to enter the wine-tasting room, and is not suitable for guests unable to negotiate steps or uneven terrain; it is not wheelchair accessible.
