The charming seaside town boasts a fortified castello and the impressive Aeolian Archaeological Museum. For centuries the world center for pumice production, Lipari has the finest white pumice dust on its beaches. Stromboli, one of the four active volcanoes in Italy.

  • Capri
    Capri

Sitting pretty in the Gulf of Naples, just off the Sorrentine Peninsula, the island of Capri is well known today for its breathtaking landscapes and upscale beach resorts. The island has two harbors, Marina Piccola and Marina Grande. While human presence on the island can be dated back to the Neolithic and the Bronze Age, it was Emperor Augustus who most famously developed Capri by building villas, temples, and planted gardens. Popular to both visitors and native Italians alike, Capri is known for its boutique hotels, trendy restaurants, and annual international film festival, and is a favorite yachting destination. The island also offers many historic landmarks and highlights, including Grotta Azzurra, Villa Jovis, Giardini di Augusto, Certosa di San Giacomo, Villa San Michele di Axel Munthe, and the uniquely shaped Faraglioni Rocks. Mt. Solero marks the highest point of Capri, at 589 meters (about 1932 ft) at its peak. There is also a statue of Emperor Augustus on the mount, who first landed on Capri, over 900 species of vegetation, and, of course, incredible views. Two different hiking routes lead up the mountain and are worthy of exploration. On many itineraries, SeaDream yachts dock alongside in Capri until midnight, allowing guests to step off the yacht and into Capri with ease, without tendering ashore—a unique experience due to the intimate size of our yachts. For those who may not be familiar with the island, Capri offers a sophisticated charm that comes alive in the evening. A guest favorite includes boarding the funicular that runs between the port in Marina Grande and the Piazzetta in Capri town above, where incredible views, buzzing bistros, and luxe boutiques await.

  • Amalfi
    Amalfi

Amalfi is a picturesque town in the province of Salerno, in the Campania region of Italy. With its incredible views, it is the central town that makes up the very famous and UNESCO awarded Amalfi Coast (Costiera Amalfitana). Amalfi sports some impressive medieval architecture including; its cathedral of Sant'Andrea (St. Andrew), the church tower, the convent of the Cappuccini, founded by the Amalfitan Cardinal Pietro Capuano. They richly represent the artistic movement prevailing in Southern Italy. From Amalfi, we have created two exciting land adventures for you. One to Scenic Ravello and the other to Fascinating Pompeii. You may also choose to play from the yacht’s marina (Permission and conditions pending) or go on a very scenic hike with one of the officers.

  • Ponza
    Ponza

Ponza is a truly delightful island in the Tyrrhenian Sea, is part of the Pontine Island group and located in the region of Lazio. The island is uniquely shaped like a crescent moon. Its glistening blue coastline is varied and dramatic with several rocky coves and sandy beaches as well as numerous grottos, caves and craggy cliffs. The island has crystal clear waters and is ideal for sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. You may want to explore some of the magnificent beaches or ask the officers to lead a nice bike ride across the island. Depending on the sea conditions and approval from the local authorities, we plan on offering full water sports anchored off this Italian gem.

  • Porto Santo Stefano
    Porto Santo Stefano

Porto Ercole (“Port Hercules”) sits pretty in the municipality of Monte Argentario, in the Province of Grosseto, Tuscany—one of two towns that form the township, along with Porto Santo Stefano located on the opposite side of this unique peninsula. Stroll their picturesque marinas with sidewalk boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Travel to Montalcino for the tasting of fantastic Brunello in one of the most celebrated Italian wine regions. Hike to the few castellos (castles) located on top of the three hills surrounding the port, or take in a round of golf with one of the most picturesque backdrops in the Mediterranean.

  • Portofino
    Portofino

The picturesque fishing village of Portofino can be found along the Italian Riviera, and is one of the most popular resort getaways in all of Italy. Portofino has been a staple of tourism in Italy since the 19th century, officially replacing fishing as its chief industry in 1950. Portofino is twinned with Kinsale, Ireland, and Palma (de Mallorca), Spain. Roman philosopher and military commander Pliny the Elder declared that Portofino was founded by the Romans, and with the high concentration of dolphins found in the Tigullian Gulf, it was named the “Port of the Dolphin” - Portus Delphini. Portofino was primarily a member of the Republic of Genoa in early days, and never provided more than a resting area for the merchant navy due to its naturally cramped harbor. The Republic of Florence purchased Portofino in 1409 from French King Charles VI, yet returned when the Florentines were ousted. Portofino became a part of the Kingdom of Sardinia in 1815, and during Risorgimento, it became a member of the Kingdom of Italy in 1861. Aristocratic visitors from Northern Europe began visiting the town in the 19th century, leading to eventual vacation homes and celebrities appearing in Portofino. Portofino is naturally beautiful port with colorful, iconic architecture that was even replicated as a hotel resort at the Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando. The Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan also created a seaside town based on Portofino. Tourists like to visit the museum Castello Brown, which provides a great view of the town, as well as the churches of St. Martin, Oratorio di Nostra Signora Assunta, and St. George - the latter containing some relics of saints. When visiting Portofino, be sure to take a guided dive to the Portofino Marine Park, as well as take a glimpse at the recently restored famous underwater statue, the Christ of the Abyss.

  • Antibes
    Antibes

Historians indicate that Antibes was the first town founded by the Greeks on the Riviera coast. For a very long time, Antibes was the only town between Marseille and Italy. The temples, monuments and an immense 3500 seat amphitheater bear testimony to its ancient origins. Much of the protecting walls have remained intact including Fort Carre, which is one of the most beautiful examples of military architecture in Europe. Today the port is taken over by an incredible array of mega yachts. The historic town center is full of pretty squares and narrow streets, ideal for wandering and people-watching. Make sure you check out the cathedral and the old ramparts. Nearby Cap d'Antibes, there is a small peninsula of paradise, you can visit it by taking the sign-posted path following the coastline. The famous "Eden Roc" hotel is at the point of the "Cap". Ask one of the officers to lead a crew shoreside casual hike – you will not be disappointed. If that isn’t appealing, we are certain one of the organized land adventure will be.

  • Nice
    Nice

Nice is the fifth most populous city in France and the second largest on the Mediterranean coast. Description

Discover the essence of Gozo on this intricate weave of heritage, history and religion that makes up the DNA of this tiny island population.

This Yachting Land Adventure starts with a drive to the Ggantija Megalithic Temples in Xaghra, which are one of the most important archaeological sites in the Maltese islands and on the Unesco World Heritage list. The well-preserved site consists of two temples dating back to between 3600 and 3200 years before Christ. From here, you walk with your guide to explore the site via an external pathway that provides visitors with unique views of the natural landscape that surround Ggantija.

The origins of this church date back to 1883, when a peasant woman claimed to have heard the voice of the Virgin Mary talking to her in the chapel, which later became a basilica. Then re-board the coach for a panoramic drive outside of town where you will have a photo stop at the mushroomless Fungus rock and view the Inland Sea at Dwejra – a unique natural sea pool with an 80 metre long tunnel through the cliffs that leads to the Mediterranean ocean.

Continue the tour to the Citadel of Victoria, a historic fortress dating back to 1500BC. It dominates the capital’s skyline and within its walls lies a fine 17th century Baroque cathedral. Take a brief walking tour that includes inside the citadel and around the impressive fortifications of the recently-restored city, afterwards you will enjoy some free time to browse the shops or relax at a local café. • Amalfi - Uncover Ancient Pompeii

    Description

Discover the ancient ruins of Pompeii and find out how the Ancient Romans lived and worked this informative guided tour. A flourishing civilization buried for 1,700 years, Pompeii is possibly the most famous excavation site in the world. Brought to life by your guide, now you can see how citizens of the greatest empire of the world lived and loved, worked and played, ate and drank—and met their fateful death.

Your journey begins as you travel from Amalfi through mountain roads toward Pompeii while admiring Mount Vesuvius, the still-active historic volcano located 15 miles southeast of Naples. Entering Pompeii by foot at the Sea Gate you are soon in the Agorà, surrounded by temples, porticoes, and law courts.

  • Porto Santo Stefano - Wine Estate and Wine Tasting

    Description

Discover the prestigious wines of the Maremma region on this Yachting Land Adventure to a famous wine estate in Tuscany.

Board a vehicle and drive through the Maremma landscape to reach the famous wine resort, Val Delle Rose Winery which is nestled between the Maremma hills and the plains of the Tuscan coastline. There is a garden vineyard and boutique Cantina producing beautifully crafted wines, made with passion and authenticity with the expertise of their winemaker.

Since 1893, the Cecchi family and brand has been synonymous with viticulture, both in Italy and worldwide. Cecchi considers protecting the environment a duty for those who work in the agricultural field. Territories are to be considered a heritage that must be defended and respected. Thus, for this winery, the word “sustainability” takes on a true and hard-working character, driven by two well-defined policies: on one hand, the safeguard and improvement of the company, agricultural and environmental heritage; on the other hand, the reclamation and employment of new technologies that, moreover, allow the minimization of both energy consumption and natural resources necessary during production. At the time of its acquisition, Val delle Rose consisted of 25 hectares under vines. The Family carried out a small farming revolution, which went not only to improve the agricultural techniques but also the wine-ageing ones. With the enormous potential of the terroir, the company extended the land under vines up to about 100 hectares. Here, the star varietal is Sangiovese, and you will have the opportunity of tasting this and other vintages with nibbles from this famous wine resort on your Yachting Land Adventure.
