    Overlooking the Mediterranean city, Barcelona is a destination that welcomes exploration. Vibrant and metropolitan, this UNESCO-Awarded city is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe. It is especially notable for its Art Nouveau architecture and the work of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, which can be seen throughout the city. His best-known work is the immense, unfinished church of the Sagrada Familia, which has been under construction since 1882 and is still financed by private donations. Completion is planned for 2026.     Roses, Costa Brava

    Roses (or Rosas in Spanish) is a coastal city and has the largest fishing fleet of the Costa Brava. Even with so many fishermen, this town in Girona thrives on tourism. The town is popular for its splendid beaches and loved for its unique location as it is the only beach resort facing west. This allows tourists and locals alike get to enjoy fantastic sunsets across the Gulf of Roses. SeaDream anchors just of the marina and may offer guests water sports activities.

  • Sanary-sur-Mer
    Sanary-sur-Mer

    Sanary-sur-Mer is a Provencal village located in the Var department in the Provences-Alpes-Côtes d'Azur region of France. Most visitors fall in love with the town shortly after they arrive. The harbor has several traditional wooden boats called “pointus” that are used by the fisherman daily. They sell their catch each morning on the harbor front. Market day is always a special treat so plan accordingly. The nearby village of Bandol has some of the oldest vineyards in France. It’s an easy bike ride down the coast from Sanary-sur-Mer. Other options include a land adventure to the nearby town of Castellet a typical hilltop village where you can explore and have a nice wine tasting. Golf at De La Fregate as well as water sports are also on option here.

    St. Tropez

    St. Tropez located on the French Riviera quite simply may be the most famous resort town in Europe. It is a playground for the fashion models, athletes, movie stars, entertainers and other extremely wealthy summertime guests. There’s much to offer in this resort town, shopping, nightlife (Byblos hotel’s Les Caves du Roy nightclub) exceptional beach clubs such as Le Club 55 and Nikki Beach at Pampelonne. Nearby you can explore some of the hill towns and visit the award winning rose wineries. You can also visit neighboring Grimaud and Port Grimaud or just a little further out golf at a few highly rated courses. SeaDream anchors just off the break wall and tenders directly to the pier downtown.

    Fréjus

    Often referred to as “the French Pompeii,” Fréjus bursts with ancient monuments and a history that few seaside towns can claim. Here Julius Caesar founded the first Roman military harbor on the Mediterranean coast, and with its 2,000-year-old history you might just feel like you are in gladiatorial times past. Unmissable sites include the Roman Ampitheater, an impressive oval arena perched on the edge of town; the Roman Aqueduct, where channeled waters from the Foux and Siagnole Rivers meet via massive underground conduits; and the Archaeological Museum, which houses the bust of Hermes, the symbol of Fréjus. Take in the open-air street markets and cafés, brimming with local life and culture, and ask your chef to accent your evening’s meal with local flavors.

    Monte Carlo

    The Principality of Monaco is an independent sovereign state composed of four quarters Fontvieille (the newest), Monaco-Ville (the oldest), La Condamine, and Monte Carlo. Monte Carlo is widely known for its casino as well as the Monaco Grand Prix. Monte Carlo is one of Europe's leading tourist destinations as it simply has so much to offer. Some of the sights include the Cathédrale Paroisse, Eglise Sainte Dévôte, Jardin Exotique et Grottes de l'Observatoire, Monaco Top Cars Collection, Musée Océanographique and of course the Palace. SeaDream calls to Monte Carlo for embarkation and on certain voyages as a port of call typically docking along the new pier. There are a few occasions where the yacht may anchor offering tender service to the pier downtown or at Fontvieille.     Nice

    Nice is the fifth most populous city in France and the second largest on the Mediterranean coast. The city's famous seaside promenade, the Promenade des Anglais ('the Walkway of the English') owes its name to the earliest settlers to this seaside resort. For over a quarter century, the picturesque Nicean surroundings have attracted not only those in search of relaxation but also those seeking inspiration. SeaDream docks in the small port and offers several land adventure options as well as private arrangements and transfers.

  • Roses, Costa Brava - Cadaqués - The Pearl of Costa Brava & Wine Cellar

    Description

    Spain's easternmost town, Cadaqués, still has the whitewashed charm that transformed this fishing village into an international artists' haunt in the early 20th century. For most of “cadaquesencs”, the local people, this is a very special place and when travelers visit, they can only agree. Cadaqués is a beautiful small village and you will start your day with a lovely walking tour of the town where after you have some time explore on your own.

    Then you will continue to Martin Faixó which is a family-run winery surrounded by the sea, located at an altitude of 300 m on Cadaqués Pass, in Cap de Creus Natural Park. The slate soil produces a yield of 35 hl/ha. The Tramontane North wind has beneficial effects on the health of the vines. You will have the opportunity to taste a couple of wines and to learn more about the production before returning to your SeaDream yacht.

  • Roses, Costa Brava - Gorgeous Girona

    Description

    The provincial capital of Girona, one of the most historical places in Spain, is located about 45 miles from Roses. Although now quite a large city, it has retained most of its compact old medieval quarter virtually intact, including the historic fortifications - and the former Jewish Quarter. After your coach arrives from Roses, your local guide will take you into the Jewish Quarter where you will discover the Arab Baths with their beautiful arches. In spite of the name, the construction of the baths is a western Romanesque style. Visit the Bonastruch Ca Porta Museum on the site of the old synagogue, as well as the medieval walls of the city and the remains of the Gironella Tower, which was destroyed by Napoleon during his retreat in 1814. You can’t miss seeing the outside of the great Catalonian Romanesque Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants. There will be some free time to explore, browse the shops, grab a bite to eat or drink on your own before boarding the bus and returning to Roses and your SeaDream yacht.

  • Sanary-sur-Mer - Easy Wheels Coastal E-Bike Adventure

    Description

    Discover the many facets of Sanary while on two wheels that are assisted with electricity; providing that glide along or uphill climb experience when you want it!

    On this Yachting Land Adventure, you will be assigned to your e-bike by an instructor waiting for you at the pier. When comfortable the group will set off for a coastal cruising adventure by 2 wheels exploring the beautiful Sanary area and nearby destinations. At a point along the way, the group will pause for a refreshment break and then head back to the pier.

    Guests should expect to cycle approximately 6.2 miles (10 km) during this excursion however the instructor will adjust the pace to suit the group’s comfort level, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants. You will be assigned an e-bike, mandatory helmet and backpack with snacks. Guests should be comfortable riding a bike with hand breaking and riding downhill.   • Sanary-sur-Mer - Hilltop Castellet & Wine Tasting

    Your experience unfolds in the heart of Provence, where a beautifully preserved medieval village and a renowned Bandol wine property offer a captivating blend of history, culture, and flavor. Your journey begins with a scenic coach transfer from the pier to the hilltop village of Le Castellet, a quintessential Provençal gem. Perched above rolling vineyards, this beautifully preserved stronghold, once owned by the Lords of Les Baux, features ancient ramparts, a meticulously restored 12th‑century church, and a castle dating back in part to the 11th century.

    Entering through the fortified gates of Le Portail and Le Portalet, you will stroll through the village’s narrow, winding streets toward the historic castle, now serving as the town hall. Along the way, admire the striking stained‑glass windows of the Saint‑Sauveur Church before reaching the viewpoint known as the Trou de Madame, offering sweeping vistas toward the Sainte‑Baume massif and the Paul Ricard Circuit.   • St. Tropez - Wine & Port Grimaud

    Description

    Indulge in a wine lover's dream tour from St Tropez, exploring renowned vineyards, visiting the historic Chateau St Martin for a wine tasting, and ending with a picturesque stop at Port Grimaud.

    Departing from St Tropez, you will drive to reach Taradeau where Chateau St Martin is located. You will enjoy the countryside, passing by some of the most celebrated district’s vineyards: Appellation Côtes de Provence and reach your destination. The history of Chateau St Martin goes back to the Roman times. The Domain, “Cru Classé”, is 100 hectares and belongs to the same aristocratic family since 1740. You will discover beautiful sights, vineyards and have a special tasting of their wine production, accompanied by some toasts.

    After your visit, re-board your bus and on the way back to St Tropez, you will make a stop at Port Grimaud. This Mediterranean fishing village, designed by the famous architect François Spoerry, is indeed a modern complex of luxury housing with a fully equipped marina.   • Fréjus - Esterel Massif Discovery Hike

    Description

    Depart the port of Fréjus for an invigorating adventure that blends sightseeing with an immersive hike through the striking Esterel Mountains. Your instructor will meet you at the pier before you board a minivan for a scenic 45‑minute drive along the Mediterranean coast. As you approach the trailhead, the landscape transforms into a dramatic panorama of volcanic peaks rising sharply from the sea, their deep red tones contrasting beautifully with the intense blue of the water. This protected natural area spans 14,000 hectares and offers some of the region’s most captivating scenery.

    Upon arrival, your instructor will guide you along a natural path that reveals the Esterel’s remarkable biodiversity. The southern slopes, sun‑drenched and dry, are covered with hardy Mediterranean vegetation adapted to limit water loss, while the cooler northern slopes host ferns, holly, and heather in a microclimate reminiscent of alpine environments. The volcanic soil, rugged and acidic, has shaped a unique ecosystem that thrives despite its challenges. Located between Saint‑Raphaël and Mandelieu‑la‑Napoule, the Esterel Massif is a Natura 2000 protected site, with its highest peak rising just over 2,000 feet.

  • Fréjus - Fréjus on Foot – From Roman Port to Provençal Charm

    Description

    Reach the city center and begin a guided walking tour through Forum Julii, the name given by the Romans to Fréjus nearly 2,000 years ago. Accompanied by your guide, explore the layers of history that have shaped this ancient city, brought to life through engaging commentary and historical anecdotes as you move through its emblematic landmarks.

    Step back into Roman times with a visit below ground to one of Fréjus’ most recent archaeological discoveries: a remarkably well-preserved Roman fish pond, a rare and striking example of Roman engineering ingenuity. Continue through the medieval heart of the city, strolling along narrow alleys before entering the cathedral, where architecture and atmosphere reflect centuries of religious and civic life.

    The walk then reveals a more modern side of Fréjus, as you pass through picturesque streets lined with colorful façades that characterize the historic center today. After the guided visit, return toward the port with a leisurely seaside stroll. Enjoy the lively marina atmosphere, with time to pause for a coffee or artisanal ice cream by the water. The tour concludes at the Square de la Lanterne d’Auguste, site of an ancient Roman lighthouse and a lasting symbol of Fréjus’ maritime past. At the end of the tour, guests may remain in town and return to the port at their leisure or return to the yacht with the guide.

  • Monte Carlo - Discover the Medieval Village of Eze

    Description

    Travel along one of the Riviera’s most scenic coastal roads as you make your way from Monaco to the medieval village of Èze, a spectacular hilltop settlement perched 430 meters above the sea. Before beginning your exploration, pause at a charming local brasserie at the foot of the village to enjoy a refreshing drink and light salty snacks. This peaceful stop sets the tone for your visit, offering a moment to take in the dramatic landscape and prepare for the ascent into one of the region’s most enchanting historic sites.

    Your guided visit begins as you pass through Èze’s 14th‑century double gateway, complete with crenellations and a sentry walk that hints at the village’s fortified past. Once inside, wander through steep, narrow lanes lined with beautifully restored stone houses, many now home to artisan workshops, boutiques, and small galleries. With no vehicle access, Èze is best discovered on foot, allowing you to fully appreciate its timeless atmosphere and the extraordinary coastal views that unfold as you climb toward the summit.

    After exploring the village at your own pace, continue toward the nearby perfumery, where a short walk brings you to another vantage point overlooking the surrounding hills. Restrooms are available both in Èze and at the perfumery. Please note that the ascent includes a series of steps and uneven surfaces, making comfortable walking shoes essential. Due to the steep terrain, this tour is not recommended for guests with mobility difficulties or those who are wheelchair‑confined. Following your visit, relax on the return drive to Monaco, taking in the Riviera’s unforgettable scenery.

  • Monte Carlo - Monaco’s Old Town & Rothschild’s Villa

    Description

    Overlooking the sea, the Rock of Monaco is crowned with the ramparts of the old town and has an almost theatrical feel. Discover the Rock on foot with your guide and then travel to Saint Jean Cap Ferrat to reveal the priceless treasures found at Baroness Beatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild family villa on this Yachting Land Adventure.

    From the yacht, travel to Monaco’s "Rock" and the oldest district of the Principality. Proceed to the top of the Old City by escalators and elevators, from where great panoramic views over the new city and its skyscrapers can be enjoyed. Your guide will escort you through the narrow streets, past the Oceanographic Museum, to the Cathedral containing the tomb of Princess Grace & Prince Rainier III and to see the exterior of the Prince Palace. There will be free time to explore this area on your own before departing for the next destination.

    Leaving the Principality of Monaco by coach; a sweeping curved road into the delightful Mediterranean coast will take you to Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, the rugged promontory boasting many palatial villas. Your stop will be to visit the museum "Ile de France"". This villa houses a priceless collection that the Baroness Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild assembled throughout her life. Inspired by the great Renaissance residences of Venice and Florence and surrounded by seven gardens of different themes, the villa contains an exceptional collection of porcelains, furniture's, carpets, tapestries, canvases displayed among what were the apartments of Madame de Ephrussi. After a guided visit through the stunning rooms and exhibits enjoy free time. Then you will drive back to Monaco along the Lower Corniche, which runs by the coast at the foot of the mountain slopes to return to your waiting SeaDream yacht.
